January 15, 20196 yr Author 18 year old Eliot Vassamillet, a contestant from Belgium's version of The Voice in 2018, has today been confirmed as their representative for Tel Aviv. We won't be hearing the song until at least late February but one of the co-writers of "City Lights" will be writing it!
January 15, 20196 yr This may be considered sacrilege by some, but I've never been a fan of 'City Lights' so I'm not overly excited for this. I'm expecting Jack and Joseph to stan him however.
February 27, 20196 yr Author This is being presented tomorrow morning and we have a very short snippet Rl4kcLolSLQ Very excited!
February 28, 20196 yr Author I think it’s a solid enough entry and a step up from last year, but it doesn’t reach the brilliant heights of Rhythm Inside or City Lights which is a shame.
February 28, 20196 yr Easily the weakest Belgian entry since Rhythm Inside. The climax when the walls came down in the video just wasn't exciting enough.
February 28, 20196 yr A huge step up from last year, but it's not nearly as good as rhythm inside, what's the pressure and city lights. Well done RTBF!
March 1, 20196 yr The whole song feels like one massive run up to a long jump but the song ends before the jump  It just doesn't really go anywhere, it's not bad at all but it goes nowhere and feels quite safe and this'll do whereas say City Lights and Rhythm Inside went for it and worked.
March 2, 20196 yr I can see why they've gone for this sound; it's very 'Spotify fodder' of the times. It's not that it's bad, it's just very blah. I think it's about as good as last year tbh and can see it going out.
March 3, 20196 yr This has grown massively with a few listens. Much prefer it to last year! It just pales compared to the glorious "City Lights".
March 5, 20196 yr I absolutely love this! It’s nowhere near as good as City Lights, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see this do well.
