My votes are gonna be the same as it was last time, so given that I spent a lot of time and effort on my views, I've decided to copy and paste my opinions again -

My vote for least fave album goes to 'Let's Get To It' for this round and its something that has grown on me quite a bit through the years, while I still feel that its the weakest of her PWL albums, and apart from the pretty decent singles, there are some really fantastic tracks on here, 'Too Much of a Good Thing', a very different sound for Kylie at the time and sometimes doesn't quite sound like her, as the backing singers do kinda overpower here, but the samples really work well and this could have easily been a better contender for the lead single. 'Right Here Right Now', another possible single contender and love the fantastic early 90's dance/club feel to this, and therefore sounding very much of its time and fits in quite perfectly if I do say so myself. 'Live and Learn', this is another that has grown on me, a very uplifting and simple number that's just a great addition to this collection.

As for the singles 'Word Is Out', never been that keen on this one, and still doesn't really do much for me at all and felt like a bit of a step down from 'ROL', but isn't terrible by no means and do like the funky production and the trumpets are kinda cool, just a weak chorus in my opinion. 'Give Me Just A Little More Time', a fantastic cover which Kylie really brings to life with her fantastic tongue rolling vocals, a great single & wise single choice that became the album's biggest success. 'Finer Feelings', a true underrated gem in Kylie's discography in which she just oozes sex and class so effortlessly, a brilliant single even if it didn't quite become a smash (but fared much better than 'WIO'). 'If You Were With Me Now', yes this was a safe option after the not so great start, but it worked thankfully and this is a really beautiful number, with superbly emotional vocals from both artists and quite a mature direction for Kylie at the time, therefore shows how she's progressing as an artist even at this early stage in her career.

Album cover goes to 'Aphrodite', yes a very nice cover, and Kylie in the blue flowing dress is simply breath-taking, but my only gripe with it is the fake looking pillars and rocks at the bottom, and plus I didn't like the other pictures such as photo-shoots, single covers & etc, I just weren't keen on them and they felt a little contrived to me, just weren't all that keen on the astectic for this era.

As for singles run it has to be 'Aphrodite' again, and wow was this era like a few others was well and truly botched with some really questionable choices. The first 2 singles were of course perfect 'All The Lovers' & 'Get Outta My Way' are pure Kylie classics. The former 'ATL' is so atmospheric and monumental with a gorgeous video to boot, it gave Kylie her last real hit of her career and achieved something Madonna couldn't do in this decade (get a top 3 hit). Then of course there's the fabulous harder edged 'GOMW' which has a powerful chorus and just plain great all round, my only gripe is with the video (just didn't like it, what was with that platform that just goes nowhere), great song and deserved a better video, and deserved better all round.

Then we get to the MEH choice of 'Better Than Today', which still to this day baffles me as to why this was picked over some of the more fantastic selection that this album had to offer. I mean almost any track on the album if given the promo slots this had could/would have performed better, and what was with that music video (talk about forgettable). Then finally 'Put Your Hands Up', which on the album is decent enough with production that explodes into euphoria in the middle-eight complete with electro guitars, of course given the way things were, this had NO chance of turning things round, and plus that remix doesn't really do anything for me. Maybe if it was released as the 3rd single with a proper music video, and 'BTT' promo slots, then maybe this could have had at least a fighting chance.

There were some great tracks that had so much more potential to make killer singles, like the title track 'Aphrodite', which is just amazing and its a drumtastic, patriotic symphony with a chorus that has that wow feel-good factor and is awash with keyboards and synth drums, this SHOULD have been released, (imagine it with a killer video). 'Closer', another contender which shows another more darker forbidding side to the album. Then finally 'Cupid Boy', yet another definite standout moment with its low-key guitar opening that bursts into an awesome rock-synth dance spectacular, along with some brilliant synth snares throughout, now this would have been a killer choice. Those are my 3 potential choices what do u guys think.

My 'Aphrodite' run would have been =

'All The Lovers'
'Get Outta My Way'
'Aphrodite'
'Cupid Boy'

Another great review, Sam! I voted Let's Get To It as well but I find the three remaining PWL albums rank pretty closely for me. Let's Get To It is the most consistent for me but got my vote on account of not having the same highs as the other two. I agree on 'Too Much of a Good Thing' having overpowering backing singers although I can't say that's ever worked against the song's favour for me as it's still a well-produced song and there's enough Kylie elsewhere on the album. The weak link out of the singles would be 'If You Were With Me Now' for me; I can see why people would like it but I just find it on the bland side.

I think 'Aphrodite' would be my first pick for single #3. There's something so essential about this song, it really commands your attention and I think an X Factor performance that acted as a sneak preview to the tour would have been an absolute spectacle. Definitely would have given the song more impact on the charts. 'Closer' would have been an interesting choice as it sounds completely different to the usual Kylie formula. I adore 'Cupid Boy' but I'm unsure if it would have captured the interests of the public, not if 'Get Outta My Way' didn't.

I think cupid boy could have done ok as a single and outdone get outta my way as that's one song I can totally understand why it didnt do aswell as people thought it would

After 'Aphrodite' is gone from the least fave singles section, I'm gonna be totally stumped as everything left in that section is just pure perfection.
