Posted April 5, 20196 yr 1N-T7WuAcBQ Rixton of 'Me and My Broken Heart' fame are back under new name 'push baby' and their new single 'mama's house' is out now - quite like it. And according to Metro they're with the same manager as Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber (doesn't mention what points in the careers lol). I did wonder what happened to Rixton :P Edited April 5, 20196 yr by WhoOdyssey
April 5, 20196 yr And according to Metro they're with the same manager as Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber (doesn't mention what points in the careers lol). Scooter Braun is still the manager of Ariana and Justin!
April 5, 20196 yr Author Scooter Braun is still the manager of Ariana and Justin! Ah quite impressive they've got Scooter then! I assumed it would be some former manager :P
April 5, 20196 yr Not that they were selling much after 'Me and My Broken Heart', but this song and video is possibly the biggest act of career suicide committed to record for any boyband before or since. And I'm including Blue ruining Stevie Wonder in that. This is shockingly bad!
April 5, 20196 yr Author You can't kill a career that doesn't really exist :P It's pretty generic, but I don't think it's terrible tbh.
April 5, 20196 yr It just screams a little bit of 'We were dropped by our record company and didn't handle it all that well, so now we can go hell for leather and do something experimental'. See also: that weird video Daniel Bedingfield did c. 2011!
April 5, 20196 yr The video is exceptionally pretentious but the song actually works really quite well! It's really not all that different to the Rixton singles tbf.
April 17, 20196 yr Author Wasn't expecting it to, but this has grown on me loads. Banger! They've managed to retain a good social media following as well.
April 21, 20196 yr Author They've been performing some shows in the US recently - the stage setup and lighting is very unique! They also hid a USB with their debut album on in the audience :P @1119694596601188352 Edited April 21, 20196 yr by WhoOdyssey
