Debut single of the winner of The Voice last year Ruti called Racing Cars. She also has an EP out now as well titled the same . The Song is currently 2 on iTunes and the EP number 1 after performing on this year’s final .

Actually like this and given how much it’s rocketed on iTunes she could break the winners flopping with any other release tag.

Last year’s series was the first I didn’t see but I really love her voice. I feel as though they’ve really responded to her winner’s single for this single as there are some similarities there I feel. It just a shame that it’s still so low budget but definitely the best debut single from a winner so far.

 

Unfortunately it’s unlikely to get support when the audience have clearly responded to it so well for once!

Absolutely love this - such an unexpected epic return too.

 

Glad to see it’s still holding on in the Top 10 on iTunes and is still #1 on the album chart, would love to see this become a ‘proper’ hit. She needs some more promo to sustain momentum and this is where the BBC originally and ITV now fail - they should support the winners on their daytime shows with a slot or two.
