However, Westlife aren’t bothered about the competition even if she does as Shane joked: ‘I’ll probably be the first in line to download it to be honest,’ adding: ‘We’re all big fans of Adele.’

Yeah but Adele is Adele, her 25 album sold 800,307 copies in the 1st week alone in UK, I doubt even Take That's comeback with Robbie wouldn't have been able to beat this. Besides, its not like their every album went #1 so its not a tragedy.

At this point, Coldplay should have bigger numbers because extensive promo has been done to them in the past. With big money at stake, that's how they're deciding on things, they're looking carefully if this will be a trend or not plus Adele's age. I still think there's a big chance Adele will release
