I agree LOVE is a bit cutesy but its sweet feel good song, I don't hate it.

Another Life is a nice ballad, I think Westlife fans will appreciate it. Its actually one of my favorites on the album.

And again, its so nice to hear Nicky and Kian, they sound like a 4 piece band and not a duo with 2 backing singers

I will listen to the album in full again and make a final verdict of it.

I am going to do that :)

Zeze what I'm afraid of is this might bring more division to Shane and Mark fans like what we have seen on Facebook groups. The unreleased tracks are very Mark dominated and more of his style. Shane fans want him to stay solo because most of them only like the traditional songs. They're like if you guys don't support this, it is ok for them to split again. I don't want them to split again.

And now we have this article

@1194960665536020480

Oh great, so they wanted to make quick money and piss off again! Great band, there for the fans I see.

I have a feeling they are not enjoying it!

Look. It mostly depends on the success. As much as I love to keep them here forever, we need to be reasonable... If the album is top 5 selling of the year and they sell out Wembley next year etc etc they won't let them go for sure next year... Maybe they will take another break which is normal but I doubt this whole come back thing is to release one album and go away.

I believe Kian might be a little bit dramatic at this moment to get the attention of the fans to the album and to the following tour which are actually the most important things for the present and the future and it makes sense doesn't it?

He said they will sit with the management and decide which means there will be ideas/plans on the table but this only if they are successful..

But indeed they stopped saying Westlife are unbreakable now didn't they? :)

I have so many things to say but I'd rather say nothing about that matter anymore

Part of me was thinking of this as well. Very timely to the album release

I thought they have a 5 year contract no?

It's a very weird thing for Kian to say, especially with an album coming right away. Almost sounds like he has issues with the band.

He must do, why else would he say that? Pathetic

I mean with a 5 years contract you can't just walk away after 2...

Just for clearing the air: I'm by no mean a traditionalist, not in my life and not in anything. My favorite band of all time is Oasis and I'm still listening to their tunes and massive fan of

Robbie Williams as well. So is it possible to be their fans and also be traditional? the problem is music itself. I think we are in a worst era of music with endless stupid songs like that

cover from Sam Smith, all those auto-tuned songs and ... I like Westlife because they're a very, very talented and good band. The most striking point for me about them is the ability

to making a record without filler tracks. Also I'm enjoying many of their uptempo songs more than their ballads and because of that I love Where We Are as their most progressive

album yet because they finally decided to coming out of their comfort zone. I keep saying it because when you reading the comment for 90's pop songs there is a similar line between

all of them: "when music was music". I saw it last time when decided to back to Y2K and Truly Madly Deeply which is great song by Savage Garden and I was their fan back then and

they were not that big but still produce a listenable music, something we barely see these days. If you want to enjoy pure music just listen to Once by Liam Gallagher and he and his

brother's solo stuff. Just listen to Lana Del Rey, she is always overlooking in big awards but producing masterpiece after masterpiece. I'm her die-hard fan and don't mind her album

debut at 1 or 2000. The thing is that it gives me deep satisfaction and the depth and layers of each song is so big which would be unfolded after 10 times listening. The real deal is

what happened last night in CMA Awards. Just listen To God's Country by Blake Shelton or see the performance (all the performers) to understand what is my mindset. We had two

great comeback by two great band: first by BSB with their amazing, beyond this world Never Gone. This is a modern album and they also recorded 40 more songs and all of them

were rich in quality but didn't make the cut. Another one Was Beautiful World by Take That which was very good as well. So here is my explanation and by the way Bryan recorded

his debut album with Guy Chambers. Even in dark ballads like Demons you can feel the great impression of multi-layered music. Sorry for taking your time, that's all for me and

Spectrum is Westlife worst album without a shadow of doubt. Hope modern and non-traditionalist guys here enjoy it but I will enjoying Ocean by Lady Antebellum for time being.

Spectrum is not for me.

You are so dramatic sometimes  Of course they are enjoying it, its evident in every gig and every TV interview. They are happy to be here. And if they wanted to make a quick money, they would have just stopped with the Twenty tour.

Besides. I think Kian simply confirmed they are taking it day by day, that they haven't thought about the future.

Plus, we are talking about a guy who always used to say Westlife won't make a comeback.

I don't see anything wrong with them taking a few years of between the albums and if they want they can always do the solo thing in between. They don't need to actually disband.

I don't think he has issues with the band maybe more of personal but this is like an emotional blackmail to the fans very timely to the album release. It is his character, like its just natural for him to say those things. Remember they are four different individuals.

Edited by myxxd

How is anything Kian said a blackmail? I think you are all overreacting, just relax. He didn't actually say "if this flops, we are out of here" nor did he even imply this. Believe me, if he did, that would have been a juicy headline and not how he is excited for Cork.

And also, keep in mind the media more often than not twist the articles.

I have just put in so much as a fan and it feels a bit cold to me. I will admit that I am over dramatic sometimes ha. Just wish we could gonback to the old days, the day before the Back Home album for example...the first time listening to it was incredible. Face to Face as well....

I hope it stays that way zeze. I only read the quote and yes we must not overthink things.

Anyway my personal favorite unreleased upbeat tracks is Take Me There but I'm only concerned if this belongs to 2012 or 2019

Trust me I am a HUGE fan but I just didn't see it as a cold thing to say - he basically said they are focused on the present and they don't know about the future. Its just a tiny quote anyway, the whole article is about gigs and family.

They are all in their 40s with families, I can't really blame them if they want to take it slower and consider things. That doesn't mean they did this for wrong intentions.

Wait until you see the 4 of them with the GOLD '1' award next week saying thank you on instagram :) :)

myxxd looks like there are quite a few good songs on the album so that should be a good one.

After all no album exists where one can like all the songs there... I loved Coast To Coast but i ddin't enjoy Angel's wings and Fragile Heart that much, same goes with WOOO, but i couldn't like imaginary diva and to be loved...
