I think it's an honest interview they needed time apart as they spent so much time together,,the bond was still there and there was no fallout, outside the band they all had/have their own lives and also don't live in the same places.

Exactly. Do people honestly believe Nsync guys see each other all the time or that Take That guys did that while they were apart? I hardly doubt that. All that is perfectly normal, I don't know a lot of fans make such a huge deal about this. The bond is definitely there, that is so clear in every gig. Plus, they are there for each other when it counts, all of them attended Jodi Albert's mom funeral when she passed away in 2015.

That inteview is really cold! Can't believe they didn't see each othwr really when apart. the band is just a businesa to them! How many male celebs etc have said they love them yet they come out tsaying it was little girls dragging dads along! So much disrespect, they can do one. Put so much time in as a fan and defended them for years but they are just 4 men who wanted to make money, no passion at all. Done with them now! Not like they were put put together, most knew each other already. Such a cold end.

 

I think many singers approach being in a band as 'just a job', many that have reunited have spoken about feeling that way during their heydays at least and then maybe enjoy everything much more naturally after getting back together.

 

As others have said, I go years without seeing friends who live abroad or whatever and when we get back together for a catchup it's like no time has passed. I'm sure it's no different with Westlife, you can see that they get on well but it doesn't mean they all have to be each other's best friends and in each other's pockets when the band are apart. I think they're being refreshingly honest actually, as you can tell so many media trained bands are like 'yeah they're my three best friends and I love being with them every day' through gritted teeth.

Yeah, you can see that so often on X Factor when they talk "we are best friends, like we have known each other for years!" after only a week being together :lol: You just know it is a lie.

 

Also, that thing about Nicky saying males being dragged to the concerts - he made the very same joke at Croke Park and everyone laughed, it is a simple joke. Even Michael Buble jokes about that sometimes on his gigs because he knows majority of his audience are women.

What are you talking about? Westlife are the pop band with maybe the most albums and tours done in total.... They travelled the world for months together.... It's only normal after that to continue your life with your family and personal stuff... Even we as humans can spend year meeting an ex mate or even relative.

 

Where do you see the coldness? Enjoy the interesting album they released today and is topping many charts at the moment...

Yes charis.

Celine Dion is doing better than I expected... Hadn't she released today they would jump to itunes #1 in 30 countries.

And Westlife keeps on climbing on Apple Music. Most important one for them is the UK

I have seen a tweet that goes like this: I love how Westlife are acting so surprised at the album sales when most people preordered for presale tickets 😂

 

Maybe it's from one of their interviews today or because of their posts not so sure. Sales might be low or high idk I have no Apple account but does the popularity bars still exists?

if the pre orders are that high, i am pretty much sure those are mostly physicals so when they added to the already good selling downloads we will have a clearer picture... I would be surprised as well for the positions in countries like US,India, Mexico, Sweden, New Zealand, Brazil... How many people from those countries wanted a presale code?

There are some websites doing estimations on uk iTunes sales but from my experience none of them are accurate. And Livepopbars(if I recalled the name correctly) plainly makes up the numbers of their popularity bars, through the rankings are correct.

 

I'm talking about the official apple or iTunes app or program. Does the popularity bars still exists?

 

Anyway, I cannot believe they are doing better than Celine in Japan. I mean this is one of the big markets and they never had a big hit there. Their albums 20 years ago only peaked at the top 20. BSB is bigger, Mexico as well.
