I just realized

Apple Music HAD different master of “Feelings” on the album

I felt bit strange because nobody talked about different versions of Feelings.

They changed “Feelings” master to SINGLE version today, And different version’s maybe gone forever.

Its almost same mixing, but different middle 8.

Single version is

And old Apple Music version was

Purchased version was SINGLE version too...

I should have kept that version!

Anybody have this? :( :(

Absolutely loving Modern Loneliness, probably my favourite of everything pre-album so far  It's so great that he's such an advocate for mental health and speaks about it so openly in his lyrics. Really can't wait for whole album. Not long to go now *.*

A ranking of all the songs so far (not including i'm so tired... x):

1. Modern Loneliness

2. Changes

3. Sad Forever

4. Mean It

5. Tattoos Together

6. f***, i'm lonely

7. Drugs & The Internet

8. Feelings

9. Sims

He should put I like me better on the album, especially on Spotify to help chart positions
He’s got a lot of promo coming up in the UK this week but it’s all before the album is released which seems a bit of a waste tbh
Omg 'Modern Loneliness' hit me pretty hard, I wasn't prepared for that! Great lyrics

Stayed up and watched the Spotify live event - it was great!

I think he released all of the best / most commercial sounding songs before the album was released though, leaving not a lot that sounds quite big enough to keep momentum going. It's still a great album and I'm loving Lonely Eyes, Billy, Canada and Invisible Things the most from what we hadn't heard, but yeah... a lot of the rest (while not bad songs at all) sound a bit like forgotten demos that were included because why not.

they added signed CD/Vinyls to his official store!

Here

seems like he missed out top 20 debut in US.

hopefully he could keep top 10 in UK at least. :P

Kinda surprised he missed the top 20 in the US. I still think if he included I like me better on Spotify he could have had a much higher debut though

I finally got around to listening yesterday and it’s a really solid album! Even though it’s a long listen (21 tracks) it didn’t feel like it dragged for me.

Of the 11 previously unheard tracks, my favourites are Lonely Eyes, Believed and Invisible Things. El Tejano sticks out like a sore thumb for having a more lighthearted subject matter & boppy production, but it’s still enjoyable... just a random fit for this album.

I’m So Tired remains as my favourite song, but Modern Loneliness is very special & definitely my favourite out of his more recent singles.

I bought the blue vinyl from his store earlier, it’s currently on sale - down from £22 to £17.60 (£4.40 saving, 20% off). Postage is £5, so overall it’s down from £27 to £22.60. Looking forward to receiving it! *.*

By the way, it seems safe for UK Top 10... possibly #9. Pretty weak sales though, it’s looking like it’ll do around 4,600, with 80% coming from streams.

The album did indeed reach #9 in the UK!

Home to his Top 40 hits including I’m So Tired, American singer Lauv’s debut album How I’m Feeling is the fourth-highest new entry of the week at No.9 (4,568 sales).

... 544 physicals, 358 downloads, 3,666 streaming.

Top 10 is a good result of course, but I wonder whether his label might be disappointed by his pure sales? Particularly considering that there was a CD, cassette, clear vinyl, blue vinyl and green vinyl.

Oddly the album is showing up in the chart as a new entry this week, even though it previously had some chart action a few months ago. It originally entered at #117 on 22/11/19, fell to #162 the following week, and then was out of the chart until it re-entered on 03/01/20 at #198. By then its total sales were said to be 6,875. However today its total sales are showing as 4,573 (5 sales more than its weekly sales). I guess OCC must have regarded it as an EP originally, whereas now it's an album... but that's inconsistent with how they treated Jax Jones' album, which was originally an EP.
