Think we are going to have a very long wait Lifelight :( but he does need time to recharge his batteries. Would hate for him to burn himself out or end up like poor Tom Chaplin due to pressure of work.

Are you going to any of the tour concerts?

I think it's why some of Will's fans shouldn't judge him harshly because he drinks and has an occasional cigarette and spliff or two. No-one knows how much pressure there is in his life and he shouldn't have his fans trying to decide on how he should live his life. We all have crutches and things to help us through. He said in one of his O/S answers how much he enjoyed the VE day concert because it was "stress free". He's not stopped for the past five years. I think he deserves his six month break.

Well, a new single wouldn't have been huge work.... btw, I know I have to wait a lot this time... and it's quite strange cos KO was released a couple of months ago in Italy.

No concerts, here... I really hope he's gonna release a live dvd ! Better than nothing ! :)

Who Am I is such a song ! Far better than All Time Love... he sings it with true feelings...

btw, I'm so happy he's so successful without any promotion :) :) :)

I know this wait will be worth it... he's not milking his fans, he respects them. he releases something when he has something good and ready ! he's not "we have 4 good tracks, let's do 7 fillers and put an album out!". he's great because he makes us wait ;) (sort of ;) )

Sorry you won't be able to see him Lifelight I forgot you hailed from Italy.

I'm sure there will be a tour dvd with the last one selling well.

It's quite sad this huge lack of promotion in Italy, btw ! :(

is he touring in Europe ?

It's been the same all over Europe :( but I can only think it's Will's choice. I'm a bit surprised he didn't promote more in Italy given his previous success there. Seems Will isn't desperate for international stardom. He isn't touring in Europe only the UK, Ireland & South Africa.

I wholeheartedly agree with you about Will not milking his fans maybe he's seen what happened to some of the artists who do. With Will it's alwys quality as opposed to quantity.

Will's said he's happy doing what he's doing and grateful that he's still around to be doing it, I don't agree with all this milking of an album and fans either, he's going to be doing what he loves best in two weeks time, performing live for his fans. I do hope that in the future that he will visit and do some concerts in Italy though, like the ones he'll be doing in November in South Africa.

The fact is not being desperate... but he's having it !!! It's not he would need to sell his soul to promote in Europe... just a couple of tv shows, some radio interviews and the will to have a proper promotion.

The success of the RM cover came almost out of nowhere in Italy... then the real promotion started and that one was one of the most played song in the summer ! he had a success to build around a bigger one... it's quite sad he doesn't take the opportunity :(

No wonder Leave Right Now is still selling well, it's still getting a lot of airplay along with Who Am I, this weeks airplay charts have Will at number 42 (21 weeks now in top 50) and Leave Right Now has moved up again to number 96. :D

KO is staring to go back up the charts

24/9 it was at #177

last week #108

mids [yesterday] KO #99

Probably not great sales, but it did move up 70 places last week :D and I think that's very good as Keep On isn't as freely available in a lot of the music outlets now.

Thanks for the update, sunday. :)

It's such a shame there wasn't a 4th single. Maybe it was actually Sony-BMG who decided against it, after the poor chart performance of WAI - despite the fact that that single pushed the album right back up the charts and got loads more people buying it. I think the underperformance of the single itself was due to it being "yet another" ballad from Will, i.e. a bit predictable. Keep On would have made a fabulous 4th single, or All I Want, perhaps even the quirky Think About It.

I don't think WAI underperformed at all Toni, :o in fact WAI actually did nearly as good Your Game did sales wise and has out performed Will's last four single releases regarding weeks in the official chart (17 weeks) and the airplay chart, (24 weeks in top 50) plus like you say it pushed the album right back up the chart.

Agree with all that you've said Suggy. It may have entered in the lowest chart position of Wills songs to date, but in real terms and in view of all it achieved, WAI is probably one of his most successful releases.

Thanks for putting me in my place, suggy! :P  It's nice to be wrong on the negative side. :)

Re: Your Game - I don't think we have digital sales figures for that, though, so the comparison wouldn't be entirely fair.

I guess WAI was a slow burner, considering it only went to No. 11. But I bet BMG don't see that!

Aww I wasn't doing that Toni, I'm sure also that if he'd released WAI first, Keep On would have shifted more copies in the first few months, but then that's not what Will wanted and I think he was right to release SIO first, it made people sit up and notice and I still love it. :yahoo:

imo who am i is his best single. they should release at least a 4rth single. p**s take! and who am i didnt do bad, it didnt enter that high but had quite a good run.

WAI had some fantastic airplay and put the song in people's minds. People I know, who in a million years would never admit to liking anything of Will's, absolutely adore 'Who am I' My 'Faithless' loving boyf for one :o I've caught him many times singing along to it on the radio or in my car

. But I bet BMG don't see that!

I think they are only interested in ££££, so I doubt chart placings are a great concern as long as it sends the album back up the charts. Don't think there is much ££ in singles is there, for Will or the record company  Or is it just the artist that doesn't benefit from single sales
