Prince to be inducted into Hall of Fame

Prince will fly into London next week to be inducted into the UK Music Hall Of Fame. The multi-award winning music icon will attend the star-studded event on November 14 at Alexandra Palace.

 

In addition, Jimmy Page has also signalled that he will attend the ceremony to personally accept the induction of Led Zeppelin into the Hall Of Fame.

 

Prince joins inductees already announced for this year’s event - Brian Wilson, Dusty Springfield, Led Zeppelin, Rod Stewart, Bon Jovi and James Brown. These seven will join Sir George Martin who is receiving this year's Honorary Membership in recognition of his exceptional contribution to British music.

 

Alongside Prince, the show will also see singer-songwriter James Morrison performing a tribute to Stewart. The line up will also include Wilson and his band performing live and Joss Stone and R&B legend Patti LaBelle performing two of Springfield’s greatest hits. Wolfmother will perform a tribute to Zeppelin. The Initial event, hosted by Dermot O’Leary, will be transmitted on Channel 4 on November 16.
