Noel Gallagher is back with a new EP out on June 14th called Black Star Dancing, with the title track out now!

Very different! I really like it, though I imagine many fans will be divided.

Really solid EP overall! Sail On is definitely my fave, really beautiful song.

Can't wait to see them tonight :D

Haven’t listened to the E.P yet but I saw him in Cardiff a few months ago and really enjoyed. He did a mixture of his own tracks with the High Flying Birds and Oasis tracks

agree

I didn't care much about Black star dancing

but Sail On is easily his best solo song ever

probably best Oasis song since Stop crying your heart out

it's a pity it's just an EP with 3 songs

wish he had returned with a full album

They're releasing 2 more EPs this year! He's said the second will have a 'Mancunian' sound and the third will be released at Christmas.

really don't like the EP strategy

wish it was a new LP right now instead

I was a big Oasis fan back in the day, even bought Definitely Maybe on day 1

but they kinda lost me after Morning Glory except 2/3 songs here and there

don't think Noel solo ever did anything I truly liked

actually Holy Mountain/She Bangs from the last era was like the worst, he really hit rock bottom for me, he couldn't go lower than that

so good he still has it. on him to write a good song

I really loved the title track from this but the other 2 songs haven't impressed me as much, I liked the slightly different sound he went for on 'Black Star Dancing' but the others feel much more like typical Gallagher stuff. 'Sail On' is definitely the 2nd best but I'm not really wanting to go back to it.
