I am sceptical of yet another Aloe Blacc feature. Made sense in 2013 but now I'm not so sure. Makes me wonder if Avicii wanted this or if he's sung over the top of an instrumental he had in waiting just for nostalgia's sake (yes 2013 is many moons ago now). I'm excited for the album overall though.

coming out 8PM tonight UK time

I'm getting Stories vibes from that preview, would love to hear more of that sound, one of my favourite albums of all time.

Quite disappointed by it tbh. Really good build up, but a poor drop.

Still though, I'm looking forward to the album, particularly Heaven which sounds amazing from the demos. And I really hope this track grows on me as well.

It's great to have new Avicii music and this will no doubt get a lot of spins and possibly grow on me a fair bit... but judging on first listen this won't go down as an ultimate fave song of his.

I really hope there's better songs on the album.

Someone made a mastered version of demos for Heaven ft. Chris Martin is here, apparently the 'official' version will be on the album - https://vimeo.com/289922524

I reckon that one will go down as one of his classics in future years :D

I really like it, definitely agree about the drop, but it’s not awful to the point of being uncomfortable, it definitely has that Avicii vibe which I guess is what’s important. Aloe sounds great tho and it is incredibly catchy

I'm used to think that first singles are always more for creating fire and smoke than for listening to it for years after release. This one perfectly describes the rule.

Couple of festival and 'tear squeezing' remixes to come please. The song itself is quite listenable as a background.
