November 9, 200618 yr ....... and he has NO acts around atm has he!!! anyway i was using him as the example of a svengali, making referance to fuller, cowell, walsh... its these people who are determining whats suitable for your ears, stiffling inovation. that is not a sign of a healthy music biz... I totally agree. It would be really nice if through Pete there could be, at least this type of music doing well in the charts. Rock and dance are all very well and doing alright now compared to about 5 years ago but It'd be cool if people took to him as he has a lotta fans anyway. We shall see, I think as a song it wont do well but because it's Pete it might do alright. I hope it does as he's been a musician for a few years so it's not like he's jumping on a fame bandwagon.
November 9, 200618 yr I think it's a case of most people here haven't heard that kind of thing before and it's not what they're used to hearing and what they expected. which is precisely my point! i like pete, i think hes a genuine guy, i think his style of music would be a benefit to the charts. hes a character and the music biz needs characters. (better then puppets)
