The E3 games festival, where new games are announced is ongoing now!

Announced so far include Watch Dogs set in a post-Brexit London from Ubisoft, Square Enix is doing something with the Avengers, EA is bringing out a new Star Wars Jedi game, and I expect many more announcements over the next few days.

Anything really caught your eye?

Nothing really exciting me yet, though that Gods & Monsters teaser at Ubisoft's yesterday looks like it could be promising.

Really looking forward to Nintendo's tonight! Animal Crossing, Luigi's Mansion 3 and Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games are almost certainly going to be talked about, as well as the new Smash character(s) - but I hope there's a few surprises!

Especially hyped for the Luigi's Mansion, Link's Awakening, Witcher 3, Pokemon S&S, Mario & Sonic, Super Mario Maker, and BotW 2 reveals.

I'm still not sold on dynomaxing in Pokemon but everything else from the direct/Treehouse Live was incredible, I really love the open world feel to it and having overworld Pokemon roaming freely and responding to players actions is amazing for a Pokemon game. I feel like some aspects of it such as HMs/whatever they're called lately are basically gone now which is as a result of how much it's changing to become open world, the world itself also looked a little bit empty in some parts... like Pokemon are appearing everywhere in some areas but by the looks of things you can't see anything happening in the distance so the world looks bare. Like even if they weren't interacting I'd love to just see wild Pokemon roaming in the far distance, trainers battling each other, plus theres no reason why NPCs can't travel now. Similar to say the traders from BotW who just continuously travel the world why can't we have people walking freely around? I hope they beef it out a bit between now and November but otherwise I'm loving the new mechanics bar giant red Pokemon (also the 3v1 battles basically just feel like Pokemon Go legendary event things tbh)

Luigi's Mansion 3 looked like a hell of a lot of fun. I've never played LM before but I will definitely be getting this, sucking up ghosts and flinging them around looks great

Links Awakening Remaster was VERY cute! Whether I get it on release or possibly wait for it to go on sale idk yet.

Witcher 3, Alien Isolation, etc. all getting Switch ports is fantastic news. I will for sure be getting Witcher 3 after how much hype it's original release got, just as I'm about to get Saints Row 3 for the same reason

Nintendo is rapidly adding more family-friendly games to the Switch too with Mario & Sonic and Just Dance joining Mario Party as the 3 go-to party games. Just Dance I'm still on the fence about basically because I might not ever play it sober but Mario & Sonic is a very very very welcome addition to my games collection

BotW 2 looked incredibly similar to Botw at first and I think everyone just assumed it was DLC. Obviously they can't drastically change the look of the game considering it's still on the same console as the first entry in the series but I genuinely thought it was just another DLC about Link and Zelda going cave spelunking at first

Isn’t Kill This Love slated to go on Just Dance 2020? bc that’s what’s keeping my hype alive
