I haven't been this hyped for a release in so long! I wonder how long we'll have to wait for the studio version, since the movie isn't coming out until November. Ari to drip-feed parts of the soundtrack starting at least a few months in advance please.

I hope so! We've had THREE months of build-up for this so the hype definitely feels there, Ariana recently got to #4 with 'boyfriend' (with a practically unknown featuring artist, Lana and Miley are way bigger draws) and Lana's just had her highest selling first-week album sales since 2014. It's hard to say without actually hearing the song but I definitely feel like there's potential for it to go to #1 as long as it isn't a dud. It did sound promising from the trailer though! Ahhh cannot wait to hear it in full.
Why do I get the feeling this will be one of those that does well, but gets cries of "LMAO such an underperformance!!!" from the get go?! Ugh. I really, REALLY hope it's good and a hit. Sick of Grime and Rap taking over the charts. :puke:

I know how you feel, all the underperformances from Camila, Zara, Miley, Katy & Normani have been disheartening - it's hard to get excited by a big female release potentially doing well! :(

It will at least debut top three everywhere worldwide, hopefully it gets massive Spotify exposure and #1 on every playlist, although hot hits uk is so slow these days
