Dave and AJ Tracey's 2016 collaboration Thiago Silva has blown up over the weekend after Dave invited a 15 year old fan on stage to perform AJ's rap, and so, Alex from Glastonbury was born *.*

 

I'd never even heard of the song before but you cannot deny how impressive this is! The song is now top 10 on Spotify so expect it to make a decent impression on the next chart, despite being on ACR

Alex was on GMB and said he's now got hundreds of thousands of followers on social media, a modelling contract AND a phonecall from Silva himself. :o Just amazing.

 

(I still think the song is pretty shit though, one of Dave's worst singles, a bit too grimey for me)

Added to Hot Hits! I'm interested to see what the chances of this making the top 40 this/next week are - it held at its #8 peak on Spotify yesterday

This isn't one of Dave's best singles to be honest with you. It's all right.

Not one of AJ Tracey’s best tracks either, but nice to see the Glastonbury performance getting this song into the charts at least.

It's not the best track either of them have produced, for sure, but this song came before either of them were big artists and it's pretty good for what it is!

By any means yes it is great that it managed to get Top 40 following on from the Glastonbury performance.
