Out on December 4th I honestly think it will make the top 10 - lowish bit like Going Under then drop quite fast especially as its so near Christmas. Its also wrong that I have a nagging feeling it could flop :(

But where do we think it will chart? Will it help the album reach platinum status?

TOD hasn't even scraped 200,000 in the UK yet - not that impressive considering it sold almost 100,000 in its first week and CMYWS wasn't exactly huge. :(

It deserves to do well.. it's a damn good ballad.

I'm thinking top 10, around #8/9. It's an awesome song but at Christmas people might be a bit pre-occupied and won't be buying it.

Top 5, if not #1. It's a brilliant song.

It's now out on February 5th according to the release schedule.

 

I can't see it doing big things, probably #14 or there abouts.

I'll say #7 ... it deserves top 5, but people might not notice it/like Nat says, have too many other things to think about.

I think this may scrape the Top 10, definitely Top 15 though. It doesn't deserve Top 5 imo as much as I love it, it's simply not commercial enough -_-

It's done well enough.... People who were expecting "Fallen part 2" have baulked at it a bit, their loss.. To anyone who has listened to "Origin" and the other early material, we know that TOD was always what Evanescence were supposed to evolve into....

They postponed it to after christmas now, so I think it stands a better chance.

I find an album to be a much better judge of the quality of a band....

Hmm, well I suspect that Ev fans, like most other Rock fans tend to be albums buyers as well... I'd think quite a few people might want to get the b-sides or the video more than the actual song itself (because most will have the album), but "Last Song I'll Ever Waste on You" has been on the internet for a while, so I dunno really... Top 20 for sure, but I dont see it getting higher than 11 maybe....
