July 12, 20196 yr Author After Luca achieved the best Swiss result since before me and Lex were even born (1993!), Switzerland have confirmed that they will again be going with an internal selection. My guess is that they'll hold the reveal back until March again, but submissions open on 2nd September and the entry will be chosen by both a 100-member audience panel, and a 20-member international jury (made up of individuals who have been on the official Eurovision juries before). Can Switzerland keep up the good work and follow up a 4th place with another smash just like Bulgaria did after much failure? They're one of the countries I'm going to be anticipating the most next year for sure
July 12, 20196 yr Just get Luca with another banger again. But yepppp. Luca has put Switzerland on my radar for next year.

September 1, 20195 yr Submissions for their internal selection open tomorrow, but you'll have to be quick as they close on the 16th September!
March 4, 20205 yr Gjon’s Tears will represent Switzerland with Respondez-Moi! O9GAfFHZE-E ANOTHER ballad but this is how you do it!!! I think this could do really well for them.
March 4, 20205 yr France is shaking when Switzerland delivers a better ballad in french lmao. But he'll have to absolutely nail these high notes live or this could be a disaster.
March 4, 20205 yr It's a beautiful song, but it didn't really go anywhere, did it? Going nowhere didn't stop Proud or Nobody But You smashing the jury
March 4, 20205 yr It's a beautiful song, but it didn't really go anywhere, did it? Except it totally does! The build up then a quiet bridge and that explosion at the end. Perfect structure. Instant favourite of the year so far. AMAZING.
March 4, 20205 yr France is shaking when Switzerland delivers a better ballad in french lmao. But he'll have to absolutely nail these high notes live or this could be a disaster. france is cancelled after that half-arsed attempt at a ballad from 2005
March 4, 20205 yr Going nowhere didn't stop Proud or Nobody But You smashing the jury  Nobody But You went nowhere? That gospel twist is the middle was divine and you could easily distinguish the first chorus to the last, it really built.
March 4, 20205 yr Author Don’t understand the fuss. Had two listens now and my instant reaction was that the broadcaster approached this year like “shit, we came dangerously close to having to host, can’t risk that again”
March 5, 20205 yr France is shaking when Switzerland delivers a better ballad in french lmao. But he'll have to absolutely nail these high notes live or this could be a disaster. Just seen some videos of him on The Voice and let's just say that will absolutely NOT be a problem *.*
March 6, 20205 yr Gut feeling, this is the winner I just can't shake that thought the more I listen to it! Like it's not my absolute personal fave but I can just imagine being one that builds momentum once it's performed in Rotterdam in the semi.
March 6, 20205 yr This is very well composed and I can see this doing exceptionally well with the juries but winning...I just don’t see it happening for this one. It could get the jury vote win but I’m not convinced this will be strong enough in the televote.
March 15, 20205 yr I knew I had to look up once I saw his name is Gjon...his parents are from Kosovo :cheer:
