April 3, 200619 yr The westlife guys have their style. Do you want a copy now? I do not.
April 3, 200619 yr The westlife guys have their style. Do you want a copy now? I do not. Well i watched the X Factor and can safely say that Shayne is a FAR better performer that Westlife :D
April 3, 200619 yr Well i watched the X Factor and can safely say that Shayne is a FAR better performer that Westlife :D Maybe he was. The only problem is that since winning the show has never sung line on TV. With Louis Walsh as his manager & churning out ballads from the Swedish/Danish pop factory I'd say he's very much a one man Westlife. Edited April 3, 200619 yr by gillwill
April 3, 200619 yr Maybe he was. The only problem is that since winning the show he has followed the Westlife pattern & has never sung line on TV. Blame it on Louis Walsh :puke2:
April 3, 200619 yr Sure Westlife would be much better if they had a REAL manager. So are you saying that if Louis stopped being their manager then they would sudenly turn into extremly talented songwrites and continue to have #1's without doing covers?
April 3, 200619 yr Louis Walsh must be crapping his pants, becuase he's set up a website to get shayne to number 1, and I reckon he's done this because of The Zutons. I wouldn't be surprised if the Zutons actually beat Shayne to the no 1 spot.
April 3, 200619 yr Author no. They had 3 consecutive number ones with non-covers. Why that stopped? Because of boring covers.
April 3, 200619 yr no. They had 3 consecutive number ones with non-covers. Why that stopped? Because of boring covers. Did they write those songs? ^_^
April 3, 200619 yr Author Hope so for that. Come on god. Westlife were denied number one from Nizlopi before come on let shayne go down for a while..
April 3, 200619 yr Author Doesn't really matters. They are not letting them to release their songs. They have written many songs. On every album you can find many of their songs, and also almost all their b sides are selfwritten.
April 3, 200619 yr Doesn't really matters. They are not letting them to release their songs. They have written many songs. On every album you can find many of their songs, and also almost all their b sides are selfwritten. Anyone can write a song. It's the quality of the songs that matter and the songs Westlife have written obviously are'nt good enough to be released as a singles.
April 3, 200619 yr Westlife are very bland performers. I always found Shayne to be one of the more vibrant performers on the X-Factor.
April 3, 200619 yr I should not admit to it but I actually liked "Bop Bop Baby" which was their only self-penned (by Brian McFadded) hit - but it only peaked at #5 (probably because the remainder of the band werent over emoting & the song was not a ballad or cover & did not have that all important key change after the bridge). Getting back to Shayne Ward - I hope "A Better Man" is not a cover of my all-time favourite Robbie Williams track!
April 3, 200619 yr Getting back to Shayne Ward - I hope "A Better Man" is not a cover of my all-time favourite Robbie Williams track! Oh, i never thought of that :o That's one of the few robbie songs i truely love and Shayne would ruin it
April 3, 200619 yr Apperently Stand by me is'nt a cover, but yes as long as Louis Walsh is his manager he will be the solo version of pestlife :puke2: PESTLIFE
April 3, 200619 yr Why do Charis's topics about other artists apart from Westlife always turn into topics about Westlife?. Although been fair to Charis it ain't all his fault.
April 3, 200619 yr I like 'No Promises' so I shall buy the single to that but meh I can't be doing with a whole album f covers and ballads and 'that's my goal' was crap anyway.
