August 27, 20195 yr HA you just knew Palace were gonna follow up their OT win by losing to a League 2 team at home. Football eh.
August 27, 20195 yr Author League Two Crawley knocked a weakened Norwich out of the Carabao Cup to reach the third round for only the second time in their history.
August 28, 20195 yr Preston had reason to be excited as they drew the holders Manchester City. Liverpool play away to MK Dons and Man United play Rochdale. Spurs vs Cholchester!
August 28, 20195 yr Really wouldn't mind seeing us knocked out of this quite early. As much as I'd love to win, for the greater good of the season it's going to cause some major issues come January with the Club World Cup commitments.
August 28, 20195 yr Would love to see none of the prem teams in this. Waste of time. Let the lower leagues scrap over it and reward them with that Euro berth.
August 28, 20195 yr It's strange all the negative views about the league cup but in this decade especially it's nearly always one of the big teams that win it!
August 28, 20195 yr This is probably the most unpredictable cup competition. It will be a case of whoever wants it most really but I would be surprised if anyone outside of last season's big six win the cup. I think the last time this happened was Swansea in 2013.
August 28, 20195 yr That's right Laudraup won it when they first came into the Premiership! The scrapping of extra time has helped as well!
August 29, 20195 yr Author Third Round Draw Wolves v Reading Oxford United v West Ham Watford v Swansea City Brighton v Aston Villa Sheffield United v Sunderland Colchester United v Tottenham Portsmouth v Southampton Burton v Bournemouth Preston v Manchester City MK Dons v Liverpool Manchester United v Rochdale Luton v Leicester Chelsea v Grimsby/Macclesfield Sheffield Wednesday v Everton Arsenal v Nottingham Forest Crawley Town v Stoke City
September 25, 20195 yr Typical West Ham! They had their open top bus parade after beating us on the weekend and now they are currently losing 3-0 to Oxford United.
September 25, 20195 yr Ole's at the wheel :D Problem with Man Utd is there are so many people on Ole's back already, he needs a big turn in form. The current predicament reminds me a lot of Rodgers early/late tenure and some of the golden bantz era. Greenwood looks really good, but surely something is not right if you are relying on a 17 year old to fire the goals in!
