I guess that's it then. We're never leaving. I'll never vote again in any election or referendum and my wife says she won't either. The MP's have let us down big time. It's not poor Boris's fault as his hands are tied by Remoaners who want to keep us in the EU despite the will of the people. DEMOCRACY IS DEAD.

What about all the times Boris (an many other Brexit supporting MPs) votes to reject Brexit? If they'd have accepted the deal, which was always the best we were going to get based on what was required, then we'd have been out ages ago.

Parliamentary democracy is working as intended.

You should be more upset about Boris and the continued incompetence of his party.

Why would I be upset with Boris? He wants to carry out the will of the people but is being frustrated at every turn by the EU, Ireland, MP's and the courts.

Boris just tweeted that we're leaving on 31st October, deal or no deal. Does he still have something up his sleeve? Maybe secretly asked an EU member to veto an extension. Word is he's been speaking to the Hungarian PM.

If there is another extension you can bet the Brexit party get a lot of votes in the upcoming election.

Boris can claim he wanted to do what the people voted for but his hands were tied. He'll go for the sympathy vote. :)

Congrats you’ve become a walking talking Conservative propoganda machine.

It’s a shame you’re showing zero awareness of the relationship between Ireland and Northern Ireland.

Remember Boris rejected a deal twice and this current proposal offers no solid practical solution to the backstop.

We've been round and round with circles. We've told Chris this, but he still doesn't listen or accept the fact that the very people who say they want to get Brexit done are the same people that stopped Brexit in the first place.

I know that Boris voted against May's deal but he's come up with a perfectly good plan now and Varadkar has put the kibosh on it. Am sure if he'd agreed the rest of the EU would. Doubt Varadkar will be very popular with Boris from now on.

DELETED. Why the double posts?

Boris just wants to be prime minister. He doesn’t actually care about Brexit, he’s just doing what he can to hold on to power.

What 27% of rhe people wanted, or claimed to want. Oops. More like 13 million now. Sorry :( Mwaa.

What’s perfectly good about it?

But you said yourself it was stupid just a couple days ago.

His new deal is complete and utter shite. There is no way he genuinely believes that the EU would ever agree to it. A deal is just that.. it's got to work for both parties. You've got to make compromises to get the right outcome. It's also why our trade deals across the world will be utter shite because most big blocs of countries would laugh us out of the negotiating table.

The deal piece is purely a PR move to improve his home ratings with gullable idiots.
