Posted September 7, 20195 yr So there is this new talent show on iPlayer where 7 unsigned rappers are put in a competition to win a record deal to Krept And Konan's label. I'm liking it so far, it feels very challenging for the team, there's some good constructive criticism from guest rappers (such as MIST and NSG) for them to improve upon and the rappers also have some sad backstories that make them feel more sympathetic and human. I end up feeling teary-eyed when one of the team has to leave because I know that they worked really hard to aim higher in life. My favourite of the seven so far is FOS. I'd recommend it for those who are interested in the UK rap scene and the cultural elements of it.
