Doin' Time' has done pretty well for Lana on radio and is pretty much a no-Brainer for the first single as it's the most commercial sounding. It's always a tricky one with Lana, but what do you think would be best picked to get sent to radios next off NFR?

I would go to Cinnamon Girl, I think it's the most radio friendly-catchy on the album after 'Doin' Time'.

The title track struck me as the one with the most memorable hook and it's already the 2nd most popular track (because of Hot Hits / being track 1 obvz) so that would only make sense to try and keep some momentum, her best chance of getting a real hit from this album if 'Doin' Time' doesn't manage to take off more I think.

 

What is this erasure of all her other singles tho xx

As her FIFTH single, I would relwase NFR for sure x

 

1. MAC as it was, brillaint genius lead

2. Venice Beach

3. HIADTFAWLMTHBIHI

4. Doin' Time

5. NFR

NFR is probably the best shout.

 

Did Mariners ever do anything on radio? If not, I'd opt to push that to radio also at some point as I think it would win the album a fair few fans.

I mean as in radio single. Doin' Time was the first single off the album to actually get sent to radio. That's why I put 'full' single in the title as I know she's put out singles already but they're mostly (I hate this term) buzz singles.

 

I agree with Dandy I'd send Mariners to radio as the second proper single actually.

California or something in the same vein, like Cinnamon or The Greatest

My first thought was The Greatest, might need to be chopped down a bit but I think it'd be the one to appeal outside of her fanbase the most. Has a classic feel to it. Next would be Mariners but I'm unsure how that'd do considering it's not really done anything after the first attempt.

Even though it's not my fav I actually think along with CG, Happiness is a Butterfly would work as a single, it has quite a lot of straightforward hooks in it that I could imagine the GP liking.
