Posted September 11, 20195 yr Finally the Pet Shop Boys/Years and Years collab first teased ages ago is out! RokbHjyPbyk
September 11, 20195 yr Fab. The lyrics and video hint about the state of Today without being explicit.
September 11, 20195 yr It’s okay. I like the message but I can’t see myself returning to it very often, it’s not particularly distinctive.
September 11, 20195 yr Author Yeah this is good... but shouldn't this be in the dance forum? The last PSB EP was posted here, so I just went with this.
September 11, 20195 yr Not a bad single actually, this. Olly is a good contrast against Neil's more galacial, disassociated voice that he's famous for. In truth I can't really name many of their singles after those from 'Yes' (which was one of my favourite albums of 2009) so I'll just say that this is their best piece of work since that album.
September 11, 20195 yr Lovely. I think in a different era this could have been quite a nice commercially-friendly track for them.
September 11, 20195 yr Not bad but not strong enough to return PSB back to the Top 40 for the first time since 2009.
September 12, 20195 yr Not bad but not strong enough to return PSB back to the Top 40 for the first time since 2009. I would be grateful if they could find their way into the Top 75 or Top 100. Dreamland deserves success but likely will do very little.
September 12, 20195 yr Was hoping the Y+Y connection could help them into the Top 100 (it won't, especially with the Wednesday release) but not really feeling this. I desperately wanted to like it. Inner Sanctum was a far better first single. It's no Pop Kids either. Oh well, it might grow on me, will almost certainly get enough streams to reach my personal chart anyway. September 13, 20195 yr I'm hoping that they've released this purely because of the Years and Years feature and that there is better to come on the album.
September 14, 20195 yr I know sales are low on iTunes but surprised this has managed to climb to #25.
