Posted November 12, 200618 yr Only the fat lazy blobs who never leave the home will probably do that.
November 12, 200618 yr sounds like a good idea to me kate... i treck all the way to france 3 times a year to collect my supply of duty free red wine.... if i can order it online and get it delivered then it will save me that awful drive!
November 12, 200618 yr Not everyone lives in London and the South East Kate :P Its impossible to fit in a booze cruise day trip if you live north of Leicester so such a service would be ideal for northerners

November 12, 200618 yr Yeah but if you had a choice of having booze delivered to your home or the long trek down to Dover and all the traffic jams on the motorways which would you do ? I think anyone would do the former
November 12, 200618 yr Fantastic idea... The home delivery system will be of great help to those of us who dont actually have cars..... :yahoo:
November 13, 200618 yr If this all happens, great for the individual, but bad for the taxman(ie us),offlicences, pubs, ferries who do booze cruises. There is no way Gordon Brown will allow a huge fall in tax revenue, reports suggest he would put up income tax or vat up on everything else to replace the lost income. so some will gain but loads of us will lose. Christ its enough to turn you to drink
