My radio station announced just a second ago that Gone was to be the finishing single for breakaway, and they also said the video shoot will begin early May!

Hopefully this means gone and breakaway will be released as a AA which will help it do better in the single charts :D

Im not sure about this.... I like gone, but its really pushing it abit I mean 6 singles?! I think a AA side would help in the UK... hmmm Im not sure about this, I thought Kelly said no more Breakaway singles after Walk Away?

 

Maybe this is because she is lagging on the album and needs something to cover her

Yes thats what I thought, because all the DJ's said Gone was being released before, and then Walk Away gott released. Im going to wait until we get confirmation from Kelly or RCA

 

Also hasnt kelly said no more Breakaway singles, and no Gone as a single as it is to similar to SUBG

i havent heard that about gone.... But i do agree with her that after walk away in the US and breakaway in the UK, the album breakaway needs to be laid down for good. We dont want it too overplayed.

Yes the record company pushed for a gone release instead of WA but she said no because Gone was too similar to SUBG

not right after because of you, because she had behind these hazel eyes and because of you right before she needed an upbeat song i think Walk away was a really good choice for the US. I dunno about the UK...

Gone would have been good for the UK I think, but Walk Away was a better choice for the US & Canada (where it peaked at #4! - although all her singles have been huge hits in Canada). Addicted wouldnt have been right to come after BOY and BTHE, but I think it would be the best song to finish the album off on...

WA was a great release everywhere except the UK where it did average for a 4x platinum album. I think Gone would have been a good release if it were AA with walk away, and then finish up internationally with breakaway.

Im not overally struck on Gone being released at all to be honest, Id much rather see a new single in a few months and it do well, than have a single perform badly :(

i dont think breakaway would perform badly if it were a AA side with something, like gone or addicted.

Me being selfish I just want Kelly to let go of Breakaway and move onto the next album :(
