Will posted this on his instagram stories earlier today, not long before deleting all of his posts. Not all of the audio is clear but this is the cults best guess so far.

Where have you been

behold ill tell you a mystery

< > or sleep

but the law/world will be changed

in a moment

in the twinkling of an eye

at the last trumpet

where the trumpet will sound

and the dead will be raised

<imperishable?>

and we will be changed

Now this perishable must <pretend?> the impressionable

and this mantle must be <torn eternity?> <and this mortal will put on immortality?>

in seven days the world as you know it will end

wake up

No idea what will happen (if anything) next but worth keeping your eyes and ears open

Looking at the band members insta pages their seems to be alien abduction themes going on and lots of Bowie references. Possibly some Doctor Who influences this time as well

Fugitives Of Heaven has been announced as playing 229 in London on 1st Nov.

Nothing from the band as yet

I'm pretty sure that's them! (it's exactly a year after their final Koko show - and there's no band I can find with that name)

Though I wonder if it's just a 'codename' for Creeper, or will they go with that name from now on?

It was finally confirmed at 3.09 (of course).

I'd already bought tickets by then.

Tonight's the night we get some idea exactly what may be going on with them as the 'Fugitives Of Heaven' show starts at 7.00pm

In other news their Spotify Playlist has been unveiling... something... on a daily basis. So far we have a 'title' of B_RN/__LD.

I'll let you know if we learn anything tonight

Born Cold

Band still called Creeper if merch to go by

It was a less punky, more typical rock type song but still very Creeper-ish. Possibly a bit MCR too.

Everything else was the same old songs but they dress all in white like Alex’s droogs without the hats. Apart from Will, who’s more Thin White Duke

I'm still not overly sold on this yet. It's ok but lacks the spark of a Black Mass or Hiding With Boys. As the opening salvo of a big return it feels underwhelming. I sort of felt that on Friday but put it down to unfamiliarity on the night.

They remain quite brilliant live but each release since The Callous Heart has been ever so slightly weaker

The album is titled 'Sex, Death & The Infinite Void' and is out on May 22nd! A UK tour has also been announced.

Very exciting, I hope the second single is released soon.

Instantly reminded of Trash by Suede. Better than Born Cold

...I'm not sure I'm liking the direction/production of the two new songs so far, at least compared to 'Eternity, In Your Arms'. It also doesn't sound as spooky (though that is probably not the purpose this time).

I kinda miss the hard hitting drum sounds. LOL
