The new album has no fast songs on it, and is a deliberate departure from their previous sound. Mainly influenced by Bowie and Roxy Music's early to mid '70s output.

I'd imagine if you're not sold on it by now you won't change your mind too much when it arrives

Pretty sure I'm done with Creeper now. Nothing I've heard from the new album is anything but average.

New single Poisoned Heart is as dull as it gets. When the gigs finally go ahead I'll still go along but unless they drop something amazing I think I'll lose interest

Having now digested the album properly I'm gonna have a slightly embarrassing backtrack. In my defence I'd had a few beers the other night and was in a mood.

The albums good. Most of the singles come across better as part of the whole rather than in isolation. I still have some issues with it and I still don't think much of Poisoned Heart, the spoken word bits are a tad cringy but it works as a whole and second half lifts it a lot.

Hmm... not bad actually. I still am a bit unsure with their early releases ('Born Cold' and 'Annabelle') but everything else have me appreciating the new direction.
