Another S1 girl falls and this time it's Shannel. I actually have seen a bit of her and like what she's brought to the table and runway wise I think she definitely deserved Top 3 ahead of Rebecca Glasscock lol but I think she asked to be eliminated? so idk. She then famously returned for All Stars 1 and teamed up with eventual winner Chad Michaels. She set some cool records and RPDR milestones during her time like being the first ever queen to walk into the Werk Room, being one of the only queens to win a main challenge 3 episodes in a row and being eliminated on the same episode in two separate seasons (Ep. 6).

Personal Commentary:

I think it's very well deserved for Sonique to be the third highest climber this year (in terms of relative difference) by climbing a whopping 28 spots! This trans queen came back for the Holi-Slay Spectacular last year looking GORGEOUS and being her authentic self and I'm just in love with her. It's so strange watching season 2 now and comparing that performance to how confident and likeable she is on the Holi-Slay Spectacular. I definitely want to see Sonique come back for All Stars more than probably any of the early queens!

Personal Commentary:

Milk is quite the dividing personality as she's quite cocky and eccentric but personally I kind of dig her? Like, I do think she should have gone home in the week that Thorgy did on AS3 but I still appreciate her as a drag queen because she's so different and weird and I think Daniel Donigan is one of my personal hottest guys of RPDR fame. She had some pretty cool/weird looks and it's a bit strange seeing that she never placed higher than 9th given how memorable she is. However, Milk does have one of the highest drops this year and that's no doubt to do with her stint on AS3 which was interesting to say the least lol.

 

Lineysha deserved the first win of season 5 and everyone knows, what a LOOK.

Sonique was OBVIOUSLY fantastic on the holislay spectacular wowee. (Although Mayhem was clearly the winner of that episode)

 

Milk has never been it for me, dk how she has as many fans as she does, always comes across very cocky and unlikeable

I'm glad Eureka hasn't totally bombed here. I do get why she's been problematic and been frowned upon but in terms of the show I do think she gets a hard wrap, her proportions and outfits are easily the best of any of the big girls and she put in some really stellar performances in her time on the show, particularly s10

 

Love Soniques glow up and do want to see her back as her authentic self,

 

Milk was cocky but a very interesting TV character, Shannel was cocky but unbearable lol.

Coco is one of those queens I've always felt is a tad overrated but I'm a bit happy to see her be rather appropriately rated here. I don't hate her by any means I just don't feel like she's as great as some people think. I found her Alyssa feud boring and outside of lip-syncing I don't think she was particularly great at anything. I'm personally not a big fan of pageant queens who don't seem to have much versatility to them and Coco fits that mold in my opinion.

I think it's very telling that almost halfway through this countdown we still have eleven queens left from season 7 and Miss Fame was definitely an enjoyable character for me personally and feels strange to still see her miss the top 10 of her season here. She had some fun moments from being a bit ditzy and failing to get the jokes being thrown her way whole season long lmao. She was good but not as great as many of her fellow queens but I definitely liked her a lot even if we already had a queen who fit her archetype a lot better on the same season (Pearl).

IDC what anyone says Gia Gunn is one of THE best villains ever on drag race and she fills the role SO well I think it's a travesty that she's eliminated so early. She's had so many quotable moments and I find it very hard not to find her entertaining. On top of that she was robbed on some occasions during her DR stint, especially on All Stars when she should have placed at least Top 3 in the variety show. ICON.

Jaidynn was a likeable queen and often times very funny but lets be real she wasn't really a good queen lmao. She had some iconic lip syncs and I will forever remember her for that prison outfit one which was just amazing to say the least. Happy to see her get some recognition because I always liked Jaidynn and while S7 had better big queens she's definitely among my fav big queens ever thanks to her lovable personality.

I like all three of these, Fame is incredibly talented, Gia is an excellent tv villain and Jaidynn is just so sweet.

How is Gia so low and HOW has she fallen since last time!?!

Her stint on AS4 is probably the best TV of any drag race season. Such a legend

Gia is one of my all time faves what a star and such a good reality TV personality. Miss Fame upon watching season 7 back is one of my favourite personalities of the season so sad to see her so low, I think I prefer her to Violet in all honesty. Jaidynn is like mentioned one of the most lovable big girls of the whole show and would have won Miss C if it wasn’t for Katya, she also really deserved the win on that parody challenge

The meme queen of RPDR has fallen but not after climbing a whopping 42 (relative) spots! This is indeed the highest climb of the countdown which is great to see and probably safe to assume is in some part thanks to her participation on AS4. Jasmine is not a very good queen performance wise and was almost certainly always going to be one of the first queens to be eliminated on All Stars 4 but I still enjoyed every second of her on the screen because she's quite hilarious and there have been SO many memes with her both on and off the show. I honestly have not had such a hard time picking a gif for a queen yet.

Personal Commentary:

From the biggest climber to the highest drop we now come to what is possibly the most controversial queen of RPDR. Dropping from the TOP 5 to outside of the Top 70 is quite the feat and I'll just admit I find it somewhat fitting. I don't necessarily think she would have deserved to be outside of the Top 100 thanks to her legacy but I feel a lot of people realised just how mediocre she is when compared to some actually great queens. I feel in AS4 her personality was so annoying and I think her legacy would have been more or less safe if she hadn't been brought back lol. I think part of the Latrice problem was also production's meddling and need for a juicy storyline as well as possibly not wanting to piss of Latrice's fanbase because she used to be (and may well still be) one of the most popular queens ever. She should have been bottom 2 way more often than she actually was and even her one win was undeserved in my opinion. She was good on S4 though and deserved the praise she got then but while most of the queens had improved since their initial seasons Latrice had just pretty much stagnated which was a let down.

I'll admit I'm surprised April got this high given I don't really remember that much about her. She had some cool looks (like the umbrella one) and was really fishy in drag but she was the 4th queen out so I can't say she's stuck in my mind that much since. Again I'm guessing what she's been up to post-show may have influenced her position here but I'll just prematurely agree with the inevitable comments that Latrice and Jasmine should really be higher than April on here lol.
