Posted November 13, 200618 yr I received a copy of the UK Amarantine Christmas edition today. If you already have the four new tracks, then it is nothing to get excited about. The new picture cover is simply a cardboard sleeve. Remove that sleeve and you get exactly the same album cover as last year. In fact, the booklet hasn't changed at all from last year. There is a second CD (a blue disc in contrast to the red Amarantine one). The blue disc contains the tracks in this order: Adestes Fideles The magic of the night We wish you a merry Christmas Christmas secrets And that's it really. No lyrics to the new songs and no new pictures. The booklet is exactly the same. I think the deluxe edition will be the same apart from a red velvet box, a mind-boggling book about mumbo-jumbo and three postcards.
November 13, 200618 yr Just a cardboard sleeve? That's quite poor, I thought they'd have put the new lyrics in and stuff... I'll not bother with this, but I'm gonna get the deluxe edition.
November 13, 200618 yr I assumed they'd stick the lyrics of the new songs in there too. Still, the deluxe edition should be nicer. ^_^
November 15, 200618 yr I went into Woolworths today and saw just the cardboard sleeve. -_- Oh well, next week's release should be classier!
November 18, 200618 yr I went into Woolworths today and saw just the cardboard sleeve. -_- Oh well, next week's release should be classier! Same here
November 18, 200618 yr I hope the lyrics to Magic of the Night and Christmas Secrets are printed in some release. It's so hard to tell for certain what Enya is singing, it would be best to have them in official printed form. Remember how some people thought Enya was singing "love is always love" on the Amarantine song? I would have the lyrics all wrong if they didn't come along with the album.
