Yesterday on October 14, the entire K-pop community had received the hard news that our beloved Sulli had passed away at the young age of 25.

Sulli got her start as a child actress before making the move into music, debuting in f(x) in 2009. She captured the hearts of many with her stunning visuals, radiant smile, and even bigger heart. She was unapologetically herself, she stood her ground with her opinions, and even through all the hell she had been put through by the haters, she never wavered from who she is. She shone bright in a society that wanted to shut her light out.

Her first solo album, released a good five years after she left f(x), showed her most vulnerable side, and it portrayed such an intense yet delicate beauty. She threw her heart and soul into everything that she did, and for that I will always admire her.

RIP Choi Jinri, you did really well. Thank you for everything you have done for K-pop, and I hope you have found peace. Rest easy, love :heart: :heart:

I first saw 'STEP' by KARA way back when and she was the STAR of the group. Front, center and just downright fierce. She was incredibly endearing and captivating at such a young age too!
