On a side issue, I fail to understand why Labour under Corbyn aren't very popular in Scotland - after all, *he* can hardly be accused of being a Red Tory!

this just came up on my feed

and no this isn’t a joke, it’s from the official Tory YouTube channel.

what a time we live in...

with that and THIS monstrosity, who wants to start lining up the worst moments of the campaign:

context: Stormzy is allegedly a better rapper than a political analyst, except that's not really true:

overall an encouraging day of celebrities using their platform to help people register.

Not gonna lie, I thought this was kind of funny. The Tories have at least one memester on their side. Maybe I'll vote for them after all.

...ok maybe not.

JC bloody well needs that because the mainstream media are being wholly biased in this campaign with the front page of the Times dedicated to the Rabbi's political statement something that religious leaders aren't supposed to be allowed to do during a GE campaign and the difference in reporting on Islamophobia in the tory party.

Its clear they will do everything possible to prevent a transformative socialist PM.

True but Scotland is a different beast to the rest of the UK as its divided along unionist vs nationalist grounds now.

The Head of Digital Comminications for the Conservatives is ex Head of Communications at LadBible and Buzzfeed which... basically explains their entire social media feed since Johnson has been leader

Will turnout be up or down on 2017?

Obviously the weather may have an effect, but I don't see it being much different from 2017 (the turnout, not the weather). :P

Half their manifesto is already law in Scotland and Scottish Labour voted against a huge chunk of it!!! We’re no daft, we can see the hypocrisy in labour’s stance in Scotland and they’ve been given a wide swerve in favour of the SNP. A massive chunk of labour’s support is pro-indie and the SNP are a viable centre-left alternative for people in Scotland.

The BBC Election Debate Line Up has a very C-List line up

Conservatives: Rishi Sunak

Labour: Rebecca Long-Bailey ()

Lib Dems: Jo Swinson

SNP: Nicola Sturgeon

Plaid Cymru: Adam Price

Green: Caroline Lucas

Brexit: Richard Price

Shocked Nigel isn’t being rolled out for the 500th time

Bit surprised that Jo's back after there's been universal criticism, even from Lib-Dems, of her performance on Friday. She could have let deputy leader Ed Davey have a go.

Labour's been grooming Long-Bailey to succeed Corbyn for the last year.

A lot of ANGER in the South - in traditional small 'c' Conservative constituencies like Dominic Raab's... I wonder if this might be the defining factor of the GE?

It's true like the battle ground is open in the north and south of England - think the tories will win through though.
Channel 4 have a leaders' debate on climate change tonight. Johnson and Farage are demonstrating their concern for the issue by not attending.
Honestly disgusting how servile people are in the country to these lying, stealing bast*rds. People should be marching on the HoC and dragging Johnson and Farage out by the ankles.

Upstairs, downstairs syndrome, plus the authoritarian, ruthless nature of the British state that perpetuates the class divide and the power of the landed gentŕy. It is historic in this country, unlike in France, for people to be servile to the rich landed genťry elite. Unfortunately, it will take many centuries more, particularly because of the pervasiveness of the authoritarian state, for us all to free ourselves of the shackles of this type of thinking.

He's not, Brer, but he is part and parcel of the estanlishment, tweed jacket and all.

Johnson has done nothing over the past few months that indicates he is interested in going through the fair rigmarole of scrutiny. Ducking out of multiple debates, 'there are no press here', a barebones austerity-laden manifesto, relying on his multiple spin artists to deliver the message to the public.

One rule for the plebs, another rule for the natural "stroll into number 10 on election day" rulers of the country.
