What I mean is most peoples' lives won't change at all whether Labour win or Boris continues.

I mean, you're fine to say that as a metaphorical balloon voting for a sharp object.

Oddschecker now has Tory majority down to 1/2 and hung parliament up to 2/1, really been quite swing as the day has gone on.

I'm just waiting for the surprise to be that, actually, there was a massive swing in the direction of the Conservatives and they get a massive majority.

Yes exactly. Most are big majorities in London anyway.

PS. I don't think Jo Swinson will be PM tomorrow.

I think it's fair to say that Jo Swinson doesn't expect to be PM tomorrow.

"Two villages in Lincolnshire with just one polling station each, had 5 and 6 mile long queues respectively. with people having camped all night" Does anyone believe that Tweet? Such crap posted around the Net these days.

John Curtice says " I would urge caution to bookmakers odds also.

On the day of the referendum Remain started 1/4 (80% chance), then went as short as 1/20 (95% chance) shortly before 10pm.

Hillary Clinton on the day of the election started out 1/5 (83.3% chance), then went as short as 1/10 (90% chance) as the polls were beginning to close.

Honestly just vote and wait till the official bbc exit poll tonight and don't get too sucked in to spending money you may not be able to afford by the betting markets.

The next 3 and a half hours are going to go on forever. Give us the exit poll and put us out of our misery pls. x

Keep busy like me. Am hoovering and dusting the whole house then taking the dog out when it fines up soon.

As always.

Chris, did yiu get that email from the Tories begging voters to get out there as the Labour turnout is high?

The Daily Torygraph had a front page headline saying 'polls narrow' to try and make sure the Tory vote gets out.

My stomach feels like there's butterflies in it.

Hope all yous English folk aren't gonna make the rest of the uk (and Ireland) suffer as usual with your Tory tendencies!!

Daily Mail is up in arms over the turnout. But, dailymail, you lot were SCREAMING about "democracy!" and used it in every argument over Brexit. Surely you WANT as many prople to vote as possible ... right?

Just voted. Was going to go with Lib Dems, but changed my mind last minute to Labour.

Surprised to see so many people this morning queuing up for the polling stations. There were numerous lines out of the stations themslelves! I know a lot of my friends/co-workers were voting and quite a few tactically. I'm caustiously optimistic about the election (Watch the conservatives get a 100 seat majority now...).

What made you change if you don't mind answering? Was it a tactical decision, or a change of heart?

No, nothing.

Tactically no, as my seat is a pretty safe Labour seat. There wasn't a huge amount between me voting Lib Dems or Labour, but I just thought the way to media has treated Labour has been completely unfair. Not to mention during work I had to listen to people talk about Labour and Corbyn in quite negative ways. When I challenged them on multiple fronts regarding what they were saying they just started blabbering on like something out of the daily mail. So I thought I'd add to the Labour vote share to show my support.

Why is Boris promising us an oven-ready Brexit for Christmas? Cos it's a complete turkey and we'll end up getting royally-stuffed with all the trimmings.

:P

Not Christmas. Am reading that his deal would be put to the new Parliament in mid-Jan. So 31st Jan.

That is simply not enough time. At all. There could be a no deal crash out, but no deal by then.

If it gets through Parliament that means we're definitely leaving a will be a relief to millions. Then trade talks begin.

Yeah just had a look - basically the billionaires on who the media are scared

Laughable
