Thank you for all that voted in the last round!

Eliminated:

30. Miracles (Something Special) (w/ Big Sean) (11/29 votes, 17.19%)

A fairly clear last placer here. Miracles (Someone Special) (Not to be confused with the song of the same name by them released three years earlier) was the first and only single released from the Kaleidoscope EP and features a contribution from rapper Big Sean, the first time they have done this since Jay Z featured on Lost+. I honestly had forgotten this and listening to it now, it's not too bad, but nothing memorable at all which was the case with most of this EP, unfortunately, I wish Hypnotised had done what this song did, as that was easily the best and actually one of my favourites of their recent material.

29. Something Just Like This (w/ The Chainsmokers) (9/29 votes, 14.06%)

Not far behind and joining what would've been their two most recent singles out if it weren't for their recent comeback is their collaboration with The Chainsmokers, featuring on both their album and the Kaleidoscope EP and by far the biggest hit from there. Reaching the top 10 on many charts of the world, over a billion views on YouTube and even getting a Grammy nomination. Depressingly, it is I believe their best selling single in the UK now. I'm very glad that at least we have the good sense to knock this out early. Like I said in the other thread, I like the noticeably Coldplay parts of the song but as soon as that dreadful, typically lazy and bland Chainsmokers drop comes in (did I mention I REALLY dislike them?), I tune out. At least A Sky Full of Stars had some nicer production behind it. I sincerely hope this will not go down as their last big hit.

This round will be another double elimination so please vote for your TWO least favourites again!

They're not bad, but compared to the rest of this list, they're not even close x

Gone for Atlas again and Life in Technicolor II, I think this was better as an instrumental.

Miracles is droppable for sure but would have liked to have seen SJLT last a bit longer.

Atlas & Adventure... once again.

I do quote like SJLT even if it is a lazy Chainsmokers track. Chris' vocals rescue it for me.

'Life In Technicolour' and 'Lost' to go next please!

As if SJLT is out already, I appreciate it's not the style Coldplay fans want but it's one of The Chainsmokers best tunes and should've lasted a bit longer.
I feel like i'm gonna be voting fix you until it eventually wins, and SJLT is already out so these results are shit already :manson:

Honestly I don't think SJLT is even one of The Chainsmokers' better songs let alone Coldplay's. (Though it's very far from The Chainsmokers' worst).

I had a quick relisten to a few of these songs to decide my vote this time and have decided on 'Atlas' and 'Everglow' (with the latter being the weakest remaining for me and actually significantly worse than I remember it being, I'm sure there were other tracks on AHFOD that would have made better single choices, this one is actually quite dull in retrospect).

'Life In Technicolor ii' is likely one that I'd have been targeting quite soon but even that's like a 9/10 song that I'm sad to see (probably) going this soon. Voting in this is really going to become evil extremely quickly.

Yes more Fix You hate!

I sadly foresee an early exit for Fix You, I recall it underperforming in the singles rate I ran a few years back as well :( I'm taking notes for the bans I'll have to hand out for that though x
the melody of Fix You is nice but the lyrics are so condescending
