Struggled to get tickets this morning in the presale - was in a queue for almost an hour - and now I know why. They've just announced the presale has sold out.

I sincerely hope there's some extra dates waiting release because somehow I don't fancy my odds in the general sale on Friday! I think they're even surprised at the scale it's taken off.

Will they have new music out soon then? Maybe they will go in a modern dance sort of direction for some of their production considering Marvin was in LuvBug.

God I hope that's the route they go down. All the LuvBug singles were AMAZING

They've added a third O2 date on 10th December - they announced it on Radio 2 this morning. Yay!

They're all on Marvin's show on Capital Radio at 10pm tonight as well. New interview with Kiss from the other day as well:

I loved the LuvBug singles, 'Resonance' was my favourite. Quite unusual for somebody from a pop band - especially one that was as huge as they were - to take that move to behind the scenes as it were, but Marv's had a solid DJing and production career out of it.

They spoke on the Brits red carpet the other night about doing something with Stormzy, which I actually think would make sense if they got the right song. Tinie Tempah was on 'Eyes Wide Shut' with them when he was at his peak, and that seems to be a favourite single of theirs for many to this day (still one of mine too).

Another 10 dates have been added since they went on general sale this morning. Safe to say this has crossed the line into absolute phenomenon! I got the O2 for 10th December so I'm happy :D

Aah nice one - you seen them before?

Their interview on This Morning:

I haven't! Really excited to be going to this one, especially as it's going to be a celebration of their hits :D

I know, it's going to be really celebratory! I can say you're in for a treat - I went to all their tours back in the day with the exception of the Goodbye tour (I couldn't get to it because of family commitments at the time). I think my favourite they previously did was the 'Outta This World' tour, which I saw at Wembley at Christmas 2010 with my dad. There's a few videos of it from their film 'Eyes Wide Open' on YouTube:

I can’t wait for this tour, I’m super excited. I am gonna go mad to The Club Is Alive and She Makes Me Wanna.
What happened to Oritsé's hair tho

I was thinking this about Aston lmao he looks a mess

We need the Saturdays

Openig act material

The epic trance style buildup before the last chorus of Eyes Wide Shut ^_^

I think for me it's stood up well because it had a slight air of melancholy in the lyrics, when you listen to it, even though it is an uptempo song. But yeah the trance style production on it has me LIVING :D

I am loving these quiz style games they've been doing in their interviews again, like this one for Capital they did. They're so competitive

Their greatest hits album from 2013 (I don't like calling it by its actual name, more so because it should be called something else now) returned to the album chart at #47 on Friday.

Their Greatest Hits, remains in the Top 75 for second week at Number 65 this week.
I wonder why their reunion has been far more successful than the one of the Pussycat Dolls.

jls had an army of fangirls who went to every show, bought the hoodie etc. a lot of the success of these shows will be from those wanting to relive those days.

I think - and this is just my take on it - it's two things. Firstly, because there's still a lot of love for them out there. They had - and still do - a genuine bond and brotherhood between them, which is one of the main appeals, but if you went to the tours back in the day you saw why cause you really got your money's worth, it was a proper full on show.

Also they took their break at probably the right time first time around, before people got sick of them but whilst there was still a lot of good will towards them, which obviously has led to them being able to pursue their personal projects so well - Marvin presenting and DJing, JB presenting and farming, Aston doing solo stuff, Strictly and musical theatre work.

Also, they did the sensible thing like Take That did of testing the waters first with a tour to see if their audience was still there, which it obviously is based on this, and I think that'll stand them in good stead to record some new stuff.

I think that's probably where Pussycat Dolls have fallen down, 'React' is an OK song but it's no 'Don't Cha' or 'Beep'. Not to mention that with the best will in the world, a great deal of Nicole Scherzinger's career since their split was along the same lines musically.

I wonder why their reunion has been far more successful than the one of the Pussycat Dolls.

A few reasons:

1) JLS were always more popular with the general public than Pussycat Dolls. PCD are either not really known or not very popular with the general public as individuals. JLS had the journey on X Factor and connected well with the public then and afterwards, there's more goodwill towards them.

2) They were more successful overall in the UK, they had more hits and released more albums and charted higher than Pussycat Dolls did.

3) They are a boyband, in the media / music industry boybands continue to get much better treatment than Girl Groups do. Magazines / papers will be all "hot JLS boys come back we've missed them etc etc ect" while they are all "PCD act like whores for comeback look like sluts etc etc etc"

4) JLS left on a good note just as the public was getting bored of them so they never experienced a backlash they were seen as friends and seem to have continued to be so, PCD had a messy split following a second album that was seen as a flop and alot of bitching etc going on and the general consensus is probably that they still cannot stand each other and are only doing it for the money (or because Nicole can't get a solo music career off the ground).
