Narrowly losing out to 'Anaconda' is 'The Night Is Still Young', the sixth and final single to be released from her sophomore album 'The Pinkprint', taking her back to a poppier route as the previous singles were all more Hip Hop leaning. The song was produced by Dr Luke & Cirkut all about living in the moment, and providing a sense of euphoria, it was easily one of the highlights when I went to see her on tour as she closed with it! It feels so underappreciated in the real world so it's good to see it respected here at least, I think the messy singles campaign from The Pink Print let this down. It still managed a respectable peak of #31 in the US, but failed to chart in the Top 100 in the UK :( It was a #4 smash hit in Israel though, get it Nicki!

Chuffed that 'The Night Is Still Young' made it this far! Voted for 'Pound The Alarm' again.

The fact that either 'Pound The Alarm' or 'Anaconda' (or, god forbid there be another random surge for one of the other songs, both) will be making the top 5 is mildly sickening. The other 4 remaining songs are good though so fingers crossed they will be the final 4...
