Sad that Taahino didn't do anywhere near as well as I expected, loved that one. Though Scherzland being in the mix made up for it, I was surprised how much I liked Kah Lo but it's quite a bop.

Good winner, was a grower! I initially paid attention to it because of the music video, was like "heyy I recognise that", then realised it was the New York subway I was on just a few weeks ago, one of those trains at least. Then the lyrics caught my attention, liked the message/ topic and musically fairly catchy, so I chucked it a few points. Well done Sam on another win! :o

Really chuffed with 13th! A great end to the year, especially after all the DNQ predictions, and obviously while 17 votes isn’t huge, it seems to have appealed to the people that liked it in a big way <3 really appreciate all those votes and the commiserations mentions too.

 

LOVE the top three, congrats to Sam, such an incredibly instant pop song. Diane was a potential of mine a long while back but it just never got up to the top of my shortlist. So glad Dobago sent it and that it did so amazingly well though, it does sound like a real world country hit and probably should have been by this point, it’s like a cross between classic Dolly and Wiktoria’s Melfest entries!

 

Congrats to FARC on the end of year No.1! So incredibly consistent this year.

I would have sent Diane a long time ago but I just never thought a country song would do so well, it's so deserved though :wub: It surprisingly did very little on the country charts, got to something like #43 but it did chart on the UK download chart at #55 thanks to Radio 2 I believe *.*
