I hope they don't throw Lorayne under the bus - she seems so genuine and cool. Why didn't she cash out on the fact that she was instrumental in getting Lukas the catfish out? They are always hunting for catfishes so this could get her up in those social rankings. But unless something changes drastically and she manages to stay until the final I don't see how she can win now.

 

Dumaresq started out strong AF but is now a bit boring and his character isn't developing at all. I don't know shit about him other than the fact he's queer...

 

I must admit Gaybol was SO terrible, I'm so glad he was blocked :lol:

 

Akel gave me Joey vibes so I thought he would be winning but now everyone turned on him. It's kinda hilarious.

I agree. Akel is so beige and vanilla and he needs to go next.

Overall a good season and I loved that Marina won. She definitely deserved it the most out of them all.

I must say that episode 9 was one of the best episode in this franchise!!!

I was rooting for Marina from the beginning, but I had ZERO expectations she would win! As they would say, SHOKADO :lol: . No idea how that happened, I was sure Dumaresq would win.

 

It was a great season overall, perhaps even better than the US one. Watching them speak portuguese was extra fun, huashuashuashua! I hope both return for a second season, or maybe we'll get more different versions?

I just saw the trailer today and it does look like a male-centric game which is always boring. I’ll still watch it but the Brazilian version set the bar really high for me.

I thought it would be Ray > JP > Marina and the winner would be between Luma and Duma.

I was rooting for Luma 100%.

 

Marina is a great winner, but I think she deserved to be 3rd. 2nd at best.
