February 14, 20205 yr She clearly has lots of $$$$ for videos but they always turn out to be so weird (in a bad way) :D
February 14, 20205 yr I actually love the video! I'm not gonna lie though, I did for the first part think the sound on my speakers was fucked.
February 17, 20205 yr Camila is the guest announcer on Saturday Night Takeaway this Saturday I think the PCDs are the performers though but still a good TV slot.
February 17, 20205 yr This didn't half stall after such a promising start. :/ EDIT - and what a f***ing horrible video. A simple nightmare/horror/graveyard themed video would have done the job. Why is there always some cheesy CGI or light comedy or Hollywood movie type stuff in her videos? Havana was alright but this and Liar are TERRIBLE videos. Never Be The Same was a mess as well but at least that was simple and low budget and wasn't as f***ing try hard as this. Shameless is the only decent video she's actually done. February 23, 20205 yr What happened to this? It looked like the stars were aligning and she was about to get another huge hit — and then it fizzled out?
February 25, 20205 yr This was partly used on LI last night. I must admit I’m a bit surprised it didn’t really take off! That post Xmas clear out week I thought it was going too. But still it’s done well enough to become another top 20 hit by her.
February 28, 20205 yr I actually love the video! Yes I agree, just seen it for the first time today and its a great music video, the best I have seen for a while.
March 14, 20205 yr Did the racism scandal intervene in this one’s success? Thought it was a sure fire top 5?
March 14, 20205 yr In terms of the UK, the song ran into difficulties in January when a lot of older established hits went back onto SCR, which pushed My Oh My down from #13 to #21. Funnily enough it's had higher weekly sales in every week since its peak position week: 03/01/20 - #13 - 20,091 10/01/20 - #21 - 22,520 17/01/20 - #20 - 23,456 24/01/20 - #23 - 22,747 31/01/20 - #23 - 23,035 07/02/20 - #20 - 23,842 14/02/20 - #17 - 23,669 21/02/20 - #19 - 23,928 28/02/20 - #16 - 23,735 06/03/20 - #18 - 22,734 13/03/20 - #21 - 20,570 Chart Run so far: 69-50-49-13-21-20-23-23-20-17-19-16-18-21... It's done well tbh, very consistent. 11 weeks and counting between the positions of 13 and 23. It's sold 291,405 so far, so it'll easily make its way to Gold in a few weeks.
March 16, 20205 yr at the end of the day, people didn't connect with the song, the song had crazy support on Spotify, which never translate in high streams, I mean if a song is top 10 for 2 months on HH and cannot make the top 10 on Spotify it really means the song is not connecting with the GP not sure what else the label could have done, sure they spent gazillions of $ on promo and payola checks, really think they're kinda losing money with Camila
March 16, 20205 yr Well every single I have liked from her apart from Señorita which got annoying quickly, even the ballad Bad Things, she is best at 'bops' like Liar and My Oh My though.
April 5, 20205 yr This is set to go close to the top 10 in the US this week and is still getting large radio gains, looks like this could be another top 10 in America for her which I'd never had expected
April 6, 20205 yr really? wow didn't see that coming See it's #8 on airplay and is predicted to be around #12-13 this week Edited April 6, 20205 yr by Bjork
