It could be seen as prejudicing court cases you see. He's been Tweeting today saying the Dems are stealing the election and committing fraud. Those are serious allegations.

They are indeed and Twitter really isn't the forum for them to be raised unless your aim is spread a story. If you have sound evidence then you take it to a court knowing that you don't need publicity to aid you.

Georgia's regular Senate election does indeed look like it's going to a runoff now, which means in all likelihood we're ending up with a 50-48 Republican Senate with 2 Georgia runoffs in early January, Democrats will need to win both to win control of the Senate (assuming Biden beats Trump of course). Turnout has generally been pretty low in these runoff elections, if the Dems push hard enough to drive turnout (which they really need to given what's at stake) these are winnable.

 

Also we finally have more numbers coming out of Nevada and (as expected) they're good for Biden.

The senate race run-off laws in Georgia are a bit silly in my opinion, apparently which party controls the Senate could be decided by this, and I feel sorry for any candidate who wins the first vote but not by 50% and then has to have a run off election with them possibly losing in this.

 

I would have to think the Dems will have advantage now in these run off elections, loads of Democrat voters are going to be out in the run off elections to try and win the Senate and give President Biden more power and Republican voters will be a bit demoralised now (and a lot now don't trust the election system any more).

Historically, Democratic turnout in runoff’s is low. Georgia is still a fairly Red state regardless of how things go today/tomorrow. Fingers crossed they manage to turn both as without it Biden will struggle to get much done.

What if he takes that even though the scenario is he loses it? :unsure:

Georgia is closer to getting finished, the biggest batch left to process is in Chatham County (about 17000) which has so far gone to Biden 57 Trump 41%. Smaller batches in the Atlanta area in Dekalb and Gwinnett counties, which have so far voted in a similar sort way.

 

Fulton County, the biggest part of Atlanta, where Biden has a higher win rate, is mostly done now.

 

It will go down to the wire, but Biden is looking favourite.

Well if Biden takes Pennsylvania he has 273 electoral college votes which is more than 270 so he has won. If Trump takes what, Arizona, North Carolina he ends up on 265. He would need Nevada to get 271 or Georgia to get to 281.

Still over 369,000 votes to add in Pennsylvania. most of them in the Philadelphia region (and primarily Philadelphia County), with a chunk in Allegheny County (Pittsburgh) but some dotted around in more red-leaning counties

 

Should get a decent provisional result tonight (US time) but ballots can still arrive tomorrow and count.
