Chart ●● Analysis

Billie Eilish returns to the top spot this week with "everything i wanted'. She takes over Dua Lipa once more, who slips to #2. The two tracks were head-to-head all week long but a few more copies meant a return to #1 for Eilish.

After performing on VLK1's Toppen av Poppen: Nyårsdag Special, Eilish also experiences a surge of renewed interest in worldwide hit "bad guy". The track had originally peaked just outside the Top 40 but re-enters this week at a new peak of #31, no doubt aided by the slow New Year's sales and discounts available on popular download sites.

Also taking advantage of a slow week was Lizzo. Her label Warner Music Vülkyria struck bronze by re-releasing the track onto the radio and having Lizzo promote it in the country during this first week of 2020. "Juice" thus enters straight at #3, when a year ago it didn't crack the Top 75 upon its original release.

At #10 is "Like This". The multi-week #1 took Vülkyrian dancefloors by storm this past year and gave Sofi Tukker their second biggest hit in the country, only surpassed in sales by "Drinkee", their Buzzjack Song Contest debut.

Our third and last New Entry this week is "God is a Dancer" by Tiësto and Mabel. Another dancefloor anthem that puts together one of the most respected DJs with the biggest seller of 2019. As radios begin to give the song more daytime plays, the sky is the limit for the duo.

I also really like the debut for "Juice"! I didn't know that it was re-released on the radio, but hopefully it will be huge! I really want this to become a hit!
