You know one thing I don't like about Anastacia: it's the fact that she seems to be proud that she never had singing lessons... and I think that not a thing to be proud of! -_- She definitely should have singing lessons so she could be able to understand and control the amazing voice she has! -_-

her mom was a singer, for sure she sang at home, reharsing or something like that

so, anastacia learnt singing from her own mother, in the most natural way

so maybe she never thought of them as lessons

obviously i didn`t explain myself, once again

i mean that anastacia could hear her mom singing, since she was a kid, so MAYBE she learnt to sing naturally

simply listening to her mom and imitating her

it`s only an idea of mine, can be right or wrong, but it`s not so weird that babies learn simply listening to

and about her octave range.. you`re right, maybe she doesn`t know it

but her mom octave range is 3.5!

Ana's was a 3.5 as well, but she's deffinatly a 4 I think. What I would love to know is why she sings the way she does. :lol: I know that the growl sound comes from the chest voice, 'cause when she sings in head her voice is alot softer/smooth.
