Enters at #2 on Billboard today, and peaked at #3 in the UK, becoming Future's biggest hit with help from Drake and its music video. I'm quite enjoying it despite the jarring transition between Drake and Future's songs parts.

The transition sounds jarring on the audio-only version but it works fine in the music video with the visuals attached to it imo. Definitely more enjoyable with the video than without it... (especially as it sounds pretty terrible on the radio with Future's flow being so heavily interrupted by the censorship :P)

It's great to see this finally giving Future a big hit in the UK, and his biggest (or at least highest peaking) hit in the US to date as well!

Also with this Drake has matched the Glee Cast for the most Hot 100 appearances (207), an impactful way to do it with a #2 debut. And it's his 100th top 40 hit too. Satisfying stats. x

207 hits sounds crazy!
This is probably my favourite thing either artist has put out in a couple years (since Mask Of and Nice For What at least)

Don't think there's any danger of this slipping out of the top 10 anyway but yeah, this most certainly isn't a rare occurrence these days!
That remix is pretty awful, they cut out the best part of the song and extended the worst part. Can't see it having much impact anyway

Future has announced a new album 'High Off Life' out on Friday. Wonder if he is a big enough presence in the UK now for it to possibly be contending for a #1 debut given how low the bar for that is going to be next week? (His last album only did 4.3k first week so probably not, but then this album is off the back of a huge hit single which wasn't the case for that album).

This song is actually only on the album as a bonus track, as are three other previously released singles ('100 Shooters' (a banger x), 'Last Name' and 'Tycoon'). The DaBaby/Lil Baby remix of this is also a bonus track. All the songs on the main album are new as far as I know.

He's charted 12 new songs off the album on the Hot 100 this week which pushes him up to 4th place on the list of artists with the most Hot 100 appearances (with 110 in total), overtaking Nicki Minaj, Elvis Presley, Kanye West, Chris Brown and Jay-Z all at once.

Need to check out more songs from the album but I listened to the collabs and my faves of those are 'Solitaires' and 'All Bad' (the latter sounds like it could have very easily just been on Lil Uzi Vert's album and it would have been one of the best songs on there lol).

the album bombs situation in America is ridiculous at the moment, seems to be happening every other week and we've got two this week with Polo G of all people getting one too. Future having more 'hits' than any of those is laughable really.

The list of most Hot 100 appearances does just resemble a list of rappers who stayed relevant enough to get multiple album bombs more and more as time passes  I don't think it means nothing for Future to have been able to get 110 chart entries, but of course it's a little ridiculous that he has more 'hits' than Elvis now.

The album itself in going to #1 is his 7th #1 album, and 6th in a row out of his studio albums (with the other being the joint mixtape with Drake), that's a slightly more meaningful stat. Also just about got him his highest first week total to date (again excluding the Drake mixtape), with a little help from merch bundles but not excessively so.

Solitaires though. Travis really is the Rosalía of American rent-a-rappers <3
