Hopefully Sabby. He really needs it. He has not been looking his best over the past number of months, very tired and all this sales pressure if not helping. He definatly needs a long break.

I agree he needs a long break. It's just so sad that (should he disappear off the scene for a long while) he goes off like this - with the Rudebox flop and rehab being the last memory on people's minds probably forgetting how much he has achieved. It's just NOT fair.

Here is a nice review from the Herald :D

Robbie Williams and Pet Shop Boys - She’s Madonna

Robbie returns with this collaboration with the Pet Shop Boys, to remind us that, despite his recently reported problems, he's not ready to go off the radar yet. This is a dynamic piece of synth-pop at its finest and is the first of two tracks recorded by the artists. It is taken from Williams' latest album Rudebox which was released last year. There are a number of mixes of She's Madonna by Kris Menace and Chris Lake which are set to be just as popular as the original. She's Madonna is available in shops on Monday March 5.

Scotty - At this stage if we see a nice review we just go ...Ok .... ..

I certainly hope as reported by Sky that they dont start showing documentaries about Rob on the TV, he does not need that right now.

Nice article in the Sentinel about Rob & so glad his friends in Stoke appreciate & love him.

I agree, I hope there aren't any documentaries, its the last thing he needs now but it wouldn't be surprising if there were. All they're interested in is getting high viewing figures and anything with Robbie, especially a 'tell all' documentary will certainly get that. They just love to kick a person when they're down and who better than Rob

I think this single will reach the 11 - 15 region still, as a few Pet Shop Boys fans will be buying it too surely?

Hopefully Aly - but its still not getting play .... RW & PSB fans dont seem to use downloads a lot or request Videos on the TV either.... we will know by the end of next week anyway...

I am collecting mine here in Ireland tomorrow at HMV ( Physicals ) & downloads on Monday... so I have done my bit & cannot do anymore.... only hope Rob is better soon.... God love him... it has to be hard on him but at least he is sticking with it seeing that he is nearly half way through his treatment.....

Hopefully, I am hopeing for top 20. I obviously want it at least top 10 and I think it deserves to go to #1 and seriously believe it would've a few years back but it is not getting good airplay and this is clearly to do with the anti Robbie feeling now in the UK with the press/radio etc. I mean look at the rest of Europe. It is currently the second most popular track in the whole continent.

A good review from Digitalspy

Robbie Williams: 'She's Madonna'

Released on Monday, March 5 2007

By Nick Levine, Entertainment Reporter

Poor old Robbie Williams. Stuck in rehab with only press reports of Take That's comeback-clinching Brit award for company, he's just been given a 'Worst Album' gong by the NME. Ouch.

But 'She's Madonna', the third single from his Rudebox debacle, is better than the tabloid press would have you believe. Over a gurgling electro backing from the Pet Shop Boys, Robbie suppresses his usual self-indulgent whining to reveal an acute fascination with the Queen of Pop - "We're having drinks with Kate and Stella, Gwyneth's here and she's brought her fella" suggests someone's a fan of the 3am girls.

So, there you go, 'She's Madonna' is a decent exercise in damage limitation from pop's fallen hero. Who'd have guessed he'd sound so comfortable - his most convincing in years, actually - singing about one of the few people in the world who's more famous than him?

It is so strange because the singles from Rudebox, apart from the title track, have had very good reviews, and yet they call the album a debacle. The only people that made it that was the tabloid press and of course as soon as there was a glitch they all jumped on the bandwagon.

I hope one day when all this Rob bashing stops someone just may turn around and say it how it really is and that it is an okay album.

I agree, they are all going by the title track when they keep slagging it off imo. It was such a bad move to name the album Rudebox. <_<

Even if they think it is a great album like so many of the IMPORTANT critics said, like NME, Uncut, Mojo, The Times, Music Week to name just a few, I doubt they will admit it. Most of the journalists who are slatting it most likley are just going by what others say, same with the public. I highly doubt theyve taken the time to sit down and listen to it, and if they have, I doubt they did properly or without already having their minds made up. Its their loss if you ask me, I absolutelly LOVE the album. It is so fresh and original and pisses on the majority of the bland c**p out there atm imo. :D

they will one day Susie. It is sad that the CD buying public listen to what the tabloids do say, I thought everyone from, North, South, East and West, knew that the newspapers don't always print the truth.

I've never been a fan of Williams and i was annoyed about wot i read about this song in the press cos i thought he was $h!t stirring about our Queen Madge but putting the reviews to a side, i heard the song for myself and to the contrary, it wasn't bad at all and wasn't quite having a dig like some people said! Just goes to show how powerful of an effect the media can have on one person!

Well i hope he gets better and comes back to u all soon! :)

Hi Madonna's Guy :)

No, don't worry, Robbie was not trying to stir things up with her Magesty. He is always saying how great he thinks she is and he apperently sent her the song after he wrote it and she liked it. I doubt any of the c**p the tabloids have been writing about Guy Richie sueing him etc is true. It did come from the Sun afterall
