Yes, I never pay any attention to the chart anymore, used to alot, but it has been a joke for some time now. I'm am a bit annoyed that She's Madonna just missed out on the top 15 though. Still amazing for a song that got very little airplay, ZERO promotion, and the 3rd single of an album with such a bad feeling around it. ^_^

Apperently it was just reported on Sky News how She's Madonna failed to reach the top 10 while TT remian at #1. :arrr: :rolleyes:

 

In no other place apart from UK/Ireland would you see such c**p being written about one of their own and for them to take such pleasure out of it. It is disgusting. :puke2:

 

As you say, would they even mention all his endless achivments he's had over the years. He broke the Guinness world record for selling 1.6m tickets in a single day, I don't recall that being mentioned. Only the negetive. :rolleyes:

Let them say what they like...Rob is so successfull that they just want to get him off the top at all costs... but he is going to be around a lot longer than they think. Rob has a fanbase that is far & wide & not just in the UK, a lot of the other artists dont have that. He also has the ability & talent to diversify & seen as that he is 33 years old now & has matured as a songwriter it will be interesting to see where he goes from here.He is rich enough for it not to be about the money anymore.

Do you think he will stick with completely new material ( like with Rudebox ) or go back to Ballads & anthems... . Im hoping that he will continue to try new things as an artist .... I suppose we will see in time.

Well I am annoyed that it only got to No.16 and even more annoyed about Sky News..but there is not alot that can be done about it.

Well I haven't heard Shine but I saw Beautiful World and Patience on the shelves in Woolies today (no She's Madonna...but don't get me started :angry: ) so it has definately been released here. I actually heard Patience on the radio last week and I am sure I heard that TT are here in Oz at the moment. Have you heard about it Ossy??

Well, it doesn't matter what us lot think about Shine, fact is that it's selling loads as in general TT are getting huge sales which is what Rob would need right now to get the press of his back.

I bet a lot of things journos write about him now they were itching to write all the time, only they didn't dare too as long as he was having fantastic sales figures.

Now they seem to feel encouraged in slagging him off because the great Britis public has abandoned Rob, or at least doesn't buy his records anymore. Which is about the same to them. -_-

Well I'm well pissed off at the Sky News 'bulletin'. Is it surprising ? No. The British media is absolutely disgusting in how they're treating Rob. They're trying to end his career and what upsets me is that, they do influence people's thoughts and opinions and them going on about how Rob's career is over, this that and the other, slagging him off gets stuck in people's heads, they start to believe it and slowly it turns people against him, for no good reason, if it hasn't already. I've never seen the press be so hell bent in ruining someone's career and reputation as they've been doing with Rob :angry:
