This has grown on me the more I’ve played it I really like it a lot now . It’s not like there usual ballads from the past . I’ve liked all 3 singles so far .

I’m surprised that people are gravitating towards liking this despite it being more textbook Sam Smith than their previous two singles! :o it’s a cute song
It's a class song, I must be one of the few who loves their ballads more than their upbeat single

This is different from all those dreadful ballads they did previously, the production is more interesting and it's not as whiny "poor me" as the others were.

I didn't know what to expect but all I got to say is that he doesn't disappoint with this.

Ólafur Arnalds remix??! That seems extremely out of leftfield but it could be great.

I think this is now my fave Sam song btw, it's only grown on me more and more with repeated listens.

I have to admit this also has become my #1 Sam Smith song

I was not fully on board with any of the songs from last year, Dancing with a Stranger was ok but didn't love it as much as everybody else

and was very disappointed with How Do You Sleep, which I find it weird in a bad way with a bizarre non-sensical drop,

and then the cover of I Feel Love was total fail, a 0/10

so very surprised even with myself by liking this so much, it's a ballad but it's not dull or a snooze fest, and it's modern

it's a pity it hasn't had much playlist support

The acoustic version is lush.

I can’t believe he’s scrapped the whole project and changing the title? Considering it was meant to be released on May 1st then all the formats (CD, Vinyl’s and Cassettes) must have already been produced?
I must be the only one who finds this to be the dullest of Sam's singles discography to date 👀 Haven't heard it many times yet though, perhaps it will eventually grow past dull for me...
What a mess. To be fair though the original album title was crap. As for the song itself, I can only take ballad Sam in small doses and this veers towards pathetic whining. It just plods on and on and gets boring very quickly. The 'yearning for love' idea is fine and all but the end result doesn't do it for me. Much prefer I'm Not the Only One out of their ballads.
