Monday & Friday were slightly below 5m and Tuesday & Thursday were a little over 5m.

 

The boost is in line with Christmas compared with the figures it had been getting the last few weeks.

Ben’s hearing loss story is going to be revisited, as touched upon at the end of Friday’s episode. Rose Ayling-Ellis has been cast in the role of Frankie and is the first deaf actress to appear in the soap.

I’m glad Ben is getting a story like this.

The audience doesn't need to be spoon-fed everything. We didn't need the spooky sound effect every time Leo was in the attic just to show he was dangerous, we didn't need sad music to tell us a situation was sad, and we don't need to hear distorted noises just to realise Ben was hard of hearing.

I think the final scene worked well in a sense but at the same time I want to know what Stuart actually said :lol:

 

I think it’ll be less powerful if they literally do that effect in every single Ben scene he’s in.

I think it worked well? And it wasn’t in every shot with Ben so it wasn’t OTT. I don’t think we’d be able to sympathise with Ben if it wasn’t added in

THIS EPISODE NEEDED MUCH MORE SHARON.

Sharon will be fabulous later down the line but I wanted to see more of her tonight during when she’s in the initial shock stage.

 

Linda was also great tonight as usual!

The fact it's the episode after Denny died and Sharon had one scene :mellow:

I didn’t mind it tbh as I’m sure it will be Sharon heavy very soon and the majority of the Square was on the boat with different storylines and things going on attached to it .

Bex casually walking into the Cafe to talk to Ian so soon after she nearly overdosed :lol:
