Letitia Dean was on top form again. The scene with her and Ian as he read out her speech was great. Didn't mind the incidental music so much, mainly as I do like that song and it wasn't too distracting (I do wish they'd drop the feature on the whole though). Would have liked to have seen a reaction from Jack, he was nearly stepdad to Dennis after all.

 

The Jags/Habiba scenes were so dire, Rukku deserves much better and Amar has to be the most dire actor ever employed by EastEnders. I'd rather Robbie back.

 

I see Ballum are going round in circles YET again. These are getting closer and closer to RobRon levels of tedious and toxic.

I mean, are we really supposed to buy that Habiba can’t get a decent man?

I hate those types of "select tweets to prove a narrative and pretend it's journalism" articles but it is nice to see Sharon/Letitia getting some praise.

 

Should this year's British Soap Awards still go ahead, I'd like to see Letitia up for Best Female Dramatic Performance.

I think the soap awards may go ahead but be on later in the year. The only issue is would they then need it to air the same time the following year for the period you’re eligible to be nominated for?

I agree about The Jags/Habiba scenes absolute cringe, right now both families could just go as they are not bringing anything much at the moment, not sure where they are going with the mum pretending to have cancer and its poor response from the family.

She did! Although I think had they went ahead it would’ve probably been Katie McGlynn from Corrie who’d have gotten it.
