February 4, 20214 yr Qj2c-OgvugQ The single edit feels sped up and cuts the verses and other important parts short, will take some getting used to I guess!
February 5, 20214 yr gutted at the new tour dates, I knew it be delayed but meh gone from a Friday to a Tuesday and day after another gig so will have to cancel going
February 6, 20214 yr Enjoyed her performance on Graham Norton last night, thought she sounded great and it's so different to everything else out there at the moment. Not sure why but I'd always assumed she was quite a homely shy person so I was really surprised how at ease she seemed in the interview part afterwards.
February 6, 20214 yr Such a fantastic performance! It was my immediate non-single highlight from the album so glad it's got a push, and a TV performance  Single up to #4 on iTunes with the album at #2 oUO1S9W2Zls I think the performance revealed a third baby for the first time so it's a good job the tour in April has had to be pushed back! Enjoyed her performance on Graham Norton last night, thought she sounded great and it's so different to everything else out there at the moment. Not sure why but I'd always assumed she was quite a homely shy person so I was really surprised how at ease she seemed in the interview part afterwards. She's probably the opposite, she very loud and talkative! She does a podcast with her mum and she's always interrupting the guests
February 6, 20214 yr Omg at the boost the song and album has received! :o Album is also currently #2 + #28 on Amazon. Just gives an idea of what kind of success she could receive with consistent promo. I'll catch up on the Graham Norton Show and comment on her performance then. Congrats to Jessie on her pregnancy!
February 6, 20214 yr So glad to see how big a boost the song and album got. I hope it gets decent radio support. Perhaps the album will re-enter the top 100 this week?
February 6, 20214 yr I finally actually listened to my vinyl of this today - I'd only really listened to the digital version before as I wanted to add Overtime to the running - but my god it's a wonderful pressing, it sounds sooooooooo good. Even the songs I'm not quite as keen on sound much better with the production ramped up.
February 6, 20214 yr I've just realised that the melody of Georgia's remix of “What’s Your Pleasure?” sounds very similar to my recent obsession “Primavera” by Páula, Povoa & Jerge. Anyway, I would like the vinyl very much Dandy* - sounds like a very high quality release! I have the CD album.
February 7, 20214 yr It always makes me think of this when I hear it... it's definitely inspired by tracks like this that were around at that time. g1kDd6yBQZ4
February 7, 20214 yr It always makes me think of this when I hear it... it's definitely inspired by tracks like this that were around at that time. g1kDd6yBQZ4 Yes! It’s very Bacharach 60s (plus Emma Bunton Free Me era).
February 7, 20214 yr I hadn’t quite got Emma Bunton in mind but we’ll roll with it  Maybe I’m off with the comparison then!
February 8, 20214 yr The single is currently #97 in the miss and the album is #11 - I’m sure the single will fall out but fingers crossed the album can remain Top 40. I don’t think it is quite a given considering Sophie also got off to a good start earlier in the year following her Graham Norton performance but fell short of the Top 40.
February 8, 20214 yr She's quite a few places higher than Sophie was though, so 🤞 How much has she sold so far?
February 8, 20214 yr 12.3k to the end of its chart run on the first week of August. Criminal sales :( I'm guessing it might have passed 20k by now, certainly by the end of this week. Chart run: 3-43-124-183-172-X In more positive news, 'Alone' from her last album has just been certified Silver, meaning she has a certified song from each of her first three albums.
