Somehow I absolutely glazed over the initial release, and haven't heard anything from Jessie before this.

But wow. What an album. Ooh La La, Soul Control, Save A Kiss, In Your Eyes, Step Into My Life, Read My Lips, Mirage (Don't Stop), Please, Hot N Heavy and Pale Blue Light are all instant 10/10s for me.

Infact the whole album is sublime. I've been listening almost non stop finding personal favorites and really getting to know the album.

Save A Kiss is one of the most perfect songs I've ever heard! ^_^

Back in at #7 this week :cheer: Shame it dropped a few places from the first midweek (was to be expected), but delighted to see her back in the top 10 for a third week! Hope it doesn't drop like a stone again next week.
I'm hopeful it'll stay top 100 still. It's currently 67, 86 & 100 on Amazon (normal, deluxe CD, deluxe Vinyl) and#73 on iTunes. It seems the vinyl is back in stock for the album (I believe it sold out last week), so that may help it out this week.

Jessie deserves a lot better than she gets, her album is great, not a dud on it..yet falls straight out top 100!!

0 playlist support for her songs on streaming platforms unfortunately. :( Hits her hard when the album chart is generally a streaming chart + 1 week new entries mostly.

In this environment she's done very well to have got 3 weeks in the top 10 out of this album really.

Haven't checked out the other new songs yet but 'Hot N Heavy' is a good added tune, thought 'Please' was decent as well but I guess I am in unpopular opinion territory again in preferring HNH  (edit: actually maybe not, reading back the thread the reception for HNH was better than I remembered it being)

Heard the rest of the new tracks now - 'Eyes Closed' is great, probably overtaking 'Hot N Heavy' as my fave of the deluxe tracks overall. The rest of them aren't really up to much if I'm being honest, nothing bad but they definitely sound like leftovers ('Impossible' might be a grower?) But hey, it's only a deluxe, good to have added 2 more songs that I really like onto an already great album ~

Aside: whoever uploaded '0208' to her YouTube channel titled the video incorrectly (listing the song title as 'Kindness' and the featured artist as 0208) and that threw me off

Tonight's Glasgow show has been cancelled after a member of her team has tested positive for covid-19.

Bristol and London dates still hanging in the balance. :(

Me and Leww saw her in Birmingham last week which was the first show of hers since the pandemic! Great show and great vocals, very at ease on the stage and defo had fun in her more disco/upbeat songs. She managed 18 songs as well which I was impressed with!!

I've got tickets for the Sunday show in London which will be my first concert in a very very long time, nevermind the pandemic.

Hoping she doesn't cancel the last few dates :(

Love a bit of Jessie but why is she in the indie forum? Surely she's more pop than anything else?
All remaining dates postponed to May :(

I’m gutted about this. I was supposed to be going tomorrow night and I can’t make the new date. :(

Remains one of the very best albums of recent years… and one of those rare occasions where an expanded version was essential
